Harry Brook Rises to No.1 in ICC Test Rankings!

In a big change on Wednesday, Harry Brook has become the number one batter in the ICC Men’s Test Rankings, passing Joe Root. The ICC announced that Brook’s rise comes after he scored his eighth Test century against New Zealand last week in Wellington. Brook has 898 rating points, just one point ahead of Root, who has 897.

This is the first time the 25-year-old Brook has reached the top spot! He shares the 34th highest rating of all time with legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. Joe Root had been number one since July after moving past Kane Williamson. Root has been at the top nine times during his career.

During the match against New Zealand, Brook scored 123 and 55 runs, helping England win by 323 runs. Root, who scored three and 106 runs in the same game, called Brook the best player in the world after the match.

Other players making moves include Australia’s Travis Head and Temba Bavuma from South Africa, both climbing into the top 10. Former number one Marnus Labuschagne improved to the 13th spot. Fast bowlers like Pat Cummins and Matt Henry are getting closer to the top as well.

In the all-rounders category, India’s Ravindra Jadeja remains number one, while Bangladesh’s Mehidy Hasan Miraz has moved up to second place.

In ODI rankings, West Indies players Shai Hope and Gudakesh Motie have improved their spots. Meanwhile, in T20I rankings, Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan has moved up to sixth, and Shaheen Afridi has jumped to 20th.

  • Israel Arrests 30 Citizens in Major Iran Spy Scandal

Israel Arrests 30 Citizens in Major Iran Spy Scandal

Israel has recently arrested around 30 mostly Jewish citizens who are accused of spying for Iran. This shocking news highlights Iran’s biggest efforts in years to gather intelligence against Israel.

According to Israeli security sources, the spies were part of nine secret groups. Some of their alleged goals included planning to assassinate an Israeli nuclear scientist and gathering information on military bases and air defenses. One father-son duo is accused of sharing details about Israeli military movements in the Golan Heights where they live.

Over the past two years, Iranian intelligence has been trying to recruit ordinary Israelis with offers of money for sensitive information. Shalom Ben Hanan, a former Israeli security official, noted the surprising number of Jewish citizens willing to work for Iran against their own country. Many of the arrested were not well-known figures but included recent immigrants, an army deserter, and even a convicted sex offender. Their activities mostly involved vandalizing property, such as spray-painting anti-government slogans and damaging cars.

The scale of these arrests has raised alarm in Israel, especially amid its ongoing conflict with Iran-backed Hamas in Gaza. On October 21, Shin Bet, Israel’s security service, warned that this espionage activity was one of the most serious challenges faced by the state.

After several assassination attempts and kidnappings connected to Iran in Europe and the U.S., Israeli security agencies decided to publicly share details about these plots to warn both the Iranian government and potential traitors.

Iran’s foreign ministry has not confirmed or denied plans to recruit Israelis, but a statement suggested that recruitment efforts would typically focus on non-Iranian and non-Muslim individuals. Iranian intelligence often finds recruits on social media, sometimes promising large sums of money for information, like $15,000 for certain details.

One of the arrested suspects, Vladislav Victorsson, 30, was detained for tasks like vandalism and had conversations with Iranians on the Telegram messaging app. He was reported to have agreed to carry out serious acts, like assassination and obtaining weapons

Sonakshi Sinha Weds Zaheer Iqbal: Family Reactions and Love Story Revealed!

After being together for over seven years, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal got married in June. One interesting thing about the wedding was that Sonakshi’s brothers, Luv and Kussh, didn’t attend. Her dad, Shatrughan Sinha, talked about this in an interview.

When asked if he supported his daughter’s choice to marry someone from a different faith, he said, “Of course, I support my daughter. It’s her life and her wedding. If she loves him and they are sure about each other, who are we to stop it? As a parent, it’s my job to be there for her. We always talk about empowering women, so it’s okay for her to choose her own partner. She didn’t do anything wrong; she’s a grown woman.”

He didn’t explain why her brothers missed the wedding, but he understood their feelings. He mentioned, “I won’t complain. They are just human. Maybe they aren’t mature enough yet. I understand their confusion. In their position, I might have felt the same way. But that’s where age and experience matter. My reaction wasn’t as strong as my sons’.”

Shatrughan shared that he enjoyed the wedding celebrations and loved meeting the guests.

Sonakshi and Zaheer dated for a few years before having a small wedding on the same day they fell in love. They later celebrated with close family and friends. They shared photos from their wedding, saying, “Seven years ago (June 23, 2017), we saw love in each other’s eyes and decided to keep it. That love has helped us through everything to get to today, where we are now married with the blessings of our families.”

Later on, Sonakshi explained why they kept their relationship private. “It’s about ‘nazar’ (evil eye). It’s better to keep some things personal. When you are already in the spotlight, it’s nice to keep something special just for yourself. When we met and fell in love, I realized early on that this was forever.”

  • US Grant to Transform Hisar Airport into Major Cargo Hub

US Grant to Transform Hisar Airport into Major Cargo Hub

New Delhi: The US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) has given a grant to Haryana Airports Development Corporation Limited (HADC) to help upgrade Hisar airport into a busy aviation center. This grant will help turn Maharaja Agrasen International Airport into a hub for cargo and logistics. The goal is to boost air cargo services at Hisar airport, which is near the National Capital Area (NCR), according to USTDA. “This partnership shows USTDA’s commitment to India’s growing aviation industry,” said USTDA director Enoh T Ebong. He added that the project will improve local supply chains and give US companies a chance to offer their technology.

Hisar airport has been in operation since 1967, mainly serving private flights and pilot training. It is quite far from the nearest international airport, which makes it hard for businesses to use air cargo services. USTDA’s assistance will help overcome these challenges by making the airport a cargo hub, boosting trade and investment, and enhancing the supply chain network.

Manoj tried to enter his father’s house to see his daughter, but things quickly turned violent. Videos from that evening show a physical fight that eventually sent people to the hospital.

The problem started when Mohan Babu filed a police complaint against Manoj. He accused him and his wife, Mounika, of trying to take over his house. Mohan also claimed that his son was struggling with alcohol addiction. In response, Manoj asked for police protection after he said he was attacked and needed medical help.

iPhone SE 4: Features, Price, and Everything You Need to Know!

The iPhone SE 4 is one of the most exciting iPhones expected to come out in 2025. It’s planned to be more affordable, priced between ₹50,000 to ₹60,000 in India. As we get closer to its launch next spring, new news tells us about its camera.

According to a report from ET News, the iPhone SE 4 will have a 48MP main camera and a 12MP selfie camera. Even though it has just one camera, it will still take great pictures. Why? The main camera will use advanced technology from the iPhone 16, which can zoom in to give good-quality photos even at a 2x zoom. This means you might not need a separate zoom lens!

However, those who love taking wide-angle pictures might be a little disappointed, as it seems the iPhone SE 4 won’t have an ultra-wide camera.

What else can we expect from the iPhone SE 4? It might come with the powerful Apple A18 chip, allowing it to use cool new AI features. It is also expected to have 8GB of RAM, an OLED display, and a design inspired by the iPhone 14 and 15, but without the funky Dynamic Island feature. The final design will be revealed when Apple launches the phone, likely around WWDC 2024 or in early 2025.
