Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma Prepare for Exciting Move to London

Famous Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and his wife, actress Anushka Sharma, are getting ready to move to London with their two children, Vamika and Akaay. Rajkumar Sharma, Kohli’s childhood coach, confirmed this exciting news. He mentioned that Virat plans to leave India soon and is focusing on spending time with his family right now.

The couple already owns a home in London, where they want to settle down. Their youngest child, Akaay, was born in London on February 15, 2024, which shows their growing love for the city.

This year, the Kohli family spent a lot of time in London. After Akaay’s birth, Virat returned to India for the T20 World Cup victory in June. He played some matches against Sri Lanka in July but went back to London afterward and stayed until August.

Kohli returned to India for the home cricket season, which included matches against Bangladesh and New Zealand. Even though the Indian team lost 0-3 to New Zealand, Kohli celebrated his birthday in India with his loved ones.

Currently, Kohli is in Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and has the Champions Trophy coming up, but the exact schedule isn’t out yet. Some people think he might visit London again before the IPL 2025.

    No Retirement for Kohli!
Since cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin announced his retirement, many fans are concerned about Kohli’s future. However, Rajkumar Sharma reassured everyone that Kohli is still fit and committed to playing. He believes Virat will continue to play cricket for at least five more years and will even be part of the 2027 World Cup.

Sharma expressed confidence in Kohli’s abilities, even though Kohli struggled a bit in his recent matches in Australia, scoring only 21 runs in the last three innings. He said, “Virat knows how to handle tough situations and help the team win.”

    Anushka Sharma Focuses on Family
Anushka Sharma is also making changes to focus more on family life. After finishing her film about cricketer Jhulan Goswami, which will be on Netflix, she hasn’t taken on many new projects. Her last big role was in the 2018 film “Zero,” but she made a small appearance in the 2022 movie “Qala.”

Anushka co-founded a film company called Clean Slate Filmz, but she has stepped back lately to balance work and her family. She has been living in London for some time now, supporting the family’s move.

    Seven Happy Years Together
On December 11, 2024, Anushka and Virat celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary. They were recently spotted in Brisbane, Australia, during Virat’s cricket tour, and a lovely picture of them went viral, showing their strong bond amidst a busy life.

As Kohli keeps playing cricket and preparing for the 2027 World Cup, the family is ready to start a new chapter in London. With both professional goals and family time in mind, this move is an exciting new start for this beloved couple!

Three Youths Arrested in Indore for Suspected Anti-National Activities

In Indore city, Madhya Pradesh, the police have arrested two young men and caught a 17-year-old boy because they think they might be involved in “anti-national” activities. Police officials said they are looking into whether these young people were trying to connect with terrorist groups or the Pakistani intelligence agency, ISI, using social media.

The police found videos promoting radical ideas that could harm community peace on their mobile phones. The suspects, aged 20, 21, and 17, reportedly watched and shared this troubling content on Instagram and YouTube.

The authorities received tips from different agencies that keep an eye on social media activity, which led to the arrest of these three in the Khajrana area of Indore. However, officials mentioned that it’s not clear yet if the suspects are linked to terrorist activities in Kashmir or the ISI, saying that those claims are “misleading.”

The police are currently questioning the three to get more information. An FIR (First Information Report) has been filed against them under specific Indian laws. Reports suggest that the suspects had stopped their schooling and were working in temporary jobs.

  • 2025 ICC Champions Trophy: Neutral Venues for India-Pakistan Matches!

2025 ICC Champions Trophy: Neutral Venues for India-Pakistan Matches!

The ICC Men’s Champions Trophy in 2025 will be held in Pakistan and at a different venue, as announced by the cricket organization on Thursday. This important decision is part of the arrangement for ICC events from 2024 to 2027. It states that any matches between India and Pakistan during this time will be played at neutral locations.

The idea is to avoid issues related to travel and safety. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has said that they won’t play in Pakistan due to safety concerns. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has pointed out that they allowed Indian teams to play in India during the 2023 World Cup, suggesting that the Indian board should do the same now.

The neutral venue plan aims to make things easier and safer for players and fans, especially because of the political tensions between India and Pakistan.

The Champions Trophy will include eight top teams: Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, New Zealand, South Africa, and Pakistan. It is scheduled to take place in February and March of next year. Pakistan is the defending champion after winning the tournament against India in 2017.

This will be the first time the Champions Trophy is held in Pakistan since it started in 1998. Besides the men’s tournament, Pakistan will also host the 2028 Women’s T20 World Cup, with neutral venues for India-Pakistan matches in that event as well.

  • Putin Says Russian Forces Gaining Ground in Ukraine Every Day”

Putin Says Russian Forces Gaining Ground in Ukraine Every Day”

On Thursday, President Vladimir Putin told people in Russia that their military is moving closer to winning its goals in Ukraine. He mentioned that Russian soldiers are gaining control of more land every day. During his annual live call with Russians, he explained that they are advancing on the battlefield along the entire front line. “The situation is changing quickly,” he said.

According to military experts, Russian forces are making gains in eastern Ukraine faster than they have since last year. “Our soldiers are reclaiming land by the square kilometer every day,” Putin stated. However, he admitted that the fighting is tough, making it hard to predict what will happen next. “But we are working towards solving our main goals, which we set at the start of this special military operation,” he added.

When asked about the Ukrainian soldiers still in Russia’s Kursk region, Putin assured that they would eventually be pushed out, but he did not say when this would happen.

  • Finland Bolsters Self-Defense in Response to Russian Aggression

Finland Bolsters Self-Defense in Response to Russian Aggression

Finland is getting serious about protecting itself after Russia started expanding its influence and invaded Ukraine. Many Finns are now signing up for weapons training, which has become very popular. A shooting range in Kerava, just north of Helsinki, has seen its membership grow from around 1,000 to over 2,100 in just two years.

The chairman of the Vantaa Reservist Association, Antti Kettunen, noticed a change in people’s attitudes. He said many feel they need to learn self-defense skills. This shift comes after Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, leaving many in Finland worried about their own safety.

Earlier this year, the Finnish government announced plans to open more than 300 new shooting ranges. Currently, there are about 670 ranges across the country. Lawmaker Jukka Kopra, who leads Finland’s defense committee, confirmed that interest in national defense has increased due to Russia’s actions.

In addition to shooting training, the National Defense Training Association reported hosting over 120,000 training days this year, which is more than double compared to three years ago. The national reservists’ group has also grown significantly, reaching over 50,000 members since the Ukraine invasion.

Unlike some European countries, Finland still has around 50,000 Cold War-era civil defense shelters, enough for about 85% of its 5.5 million people. Tomi Rask from Helsinki Rescue Services emphasized the need to prepare for the potential threats from neighboring countries.

At the shooting range, reservists and gun enthusiasts practice using Glock handguns on human-shaped targets. Some do it for fun, while others feel the need to be prepared because of Russia. Finland has a long history of conflicts with Russia, including fighting to gain independence in 1917 and facing Soviet forces during the Winter War in World War II. Kettunen compared learning to shoot to learning to swim: it’s better to be trained and ready before you need it.

Sengar Seeks Medical Bail Extension in Unnao Rape Case: Latest Update”

New Delhi – Kuldeep Singh Sengar, a former BJP leader who was kicked out of the party, has asked the Delhi High Court for a five-month extension of his temporary bail due to health issues related to the Unnao rape case from 2017. The court had already granted him temporary bail until December 20 but is now looking at his request again.

A panel of judges asked for a health report from the doctors at AIIMS, a big hospital, and noted that many visitors were coming to see Sengar, which was affecting his medical care. However, Sengar’s lawyer argued that only family members had visited him during his evaluation.

Sengar is serving a 10-year prison sentence for the death of the father of the Unnao rape survivor, who died in police custody after being arrested on Sengar’s orders. The survivor, who was a minor at the time, was allegedly kidnapped and raped by Sengar in 2017. The courts had also given prison sentences to Sengar’s brother and others involved in the case.

Currently, Sengar has an appeal pending to have his conviction overturned. The Supreme Court ordered the rape and related cases to be moved to Delhi from Uttar Pradesh for a fair trial.

High Court Orders Admission for Kids Expelled Over Non-Vegetarian Food

The Allahabad High Court has stepped in to help three young children who were kicked out of school for bringing non-vegetarian food in their lunchboxes. The court has ordered the local district magistrate to ensure these kids are admitted to a new school within two weeks.

This decision comes after a complaint from a woman named Sabra and others from Amroha. The judges, Siddharth and SC Sharma, told the district magistrate to find a school that follows the CBSE system for the children and send a report back to the court.

The parents of the children said that their right to education was harmed because the school expelled them for their food choice. The court’s order was given on December 17, and it plans to review the situation again on January 6, 2025. If the district magistrate does not submit the required report, he must appear in court on that date.
