Actress Claims Co-Star Harassed Her at Holi Party in Mumbai

A famous TV actress has accused her drunk co-star of touching her inappropriately during a Holi party in Mumbai. The actress said that her 29-year-old colleague, who works for a TV channel, forced colors onto her face and grabbed her during a rooftop party arranged by her company in Jogeshwari.

In her complaint, the actress shared what happened. She claimed the co-star, who was very drunk, sneaked up to her and applied colors to her cheeks, even though she tried to hide from him behind a stall. She also mentioned that he was making unwanted advances toward other women at the party.

The actress said that he told her, “I love you, let’s see who can stop me from getting to you,” before he began to touch her inappropriately. Even when she tried to push him away, he wouldn’t stop.

Feeling “mentally shocked” after the incident, she told her friends about what happened. When her friends confronted the actor, he allegedly pushed them away, leading to a physical fight.

The police have now opened a case against the man for sexual harassment. They have called him in for questioning, and further investigation is ongoing.

  • ISRO Unveils India’s First 32-bit Microprocessors for Space Exploration

ISRO Unveils India’s First 32-bit Microprocessors for Space Exploration

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has teamed up with the Semiconductor Laboratory (SCL) in Chandigarh to create two brand new 32-bit microprocessors, named Vikram 3201 and Kalpana 3201. These processors are designed especially for tough space conditions.

Vikram 3201 is a groundbreaking achievement as it is India’s first 32-bit microprocessor made entirely in India. It was crafted using advanced technology in a special semiconductor factory in Chandigarh. This processor builds on the earlier Vikram 1601, a 16-bit microprocessor that has been in use since 2009.

Kalpana 3201 is another amazing 32-bit processor that uses a system called SPARC V8, which is a popular type of computer architecture. It is designed to work well with open-source software, allowing developers to easily create new applications.

Both of these processors can perform complex calculations and support programming in the Ada language—a language widely used in aerospace. ISRO has developed all the necessary software for these processors in-house, and a new C language compiler is also being planned to give even more options to users.

These new processors are important for making India self-reliant in creating reliable processors for monitoring and controlling space launch vehicles. The first batch of Vikram 3201 processors was successfully tested in space during a recent mission named PSLV-C60.

Along with these microprocessors, ISRO also introduced four other devices that help make the electronic systems on rockets smaller and more efficient. They include systems to gather data and manage power effectively.

Additionally, an agreement was signed between SCL and ISRO to develop special sensors that will measure pressure in wind tunnels, enhancing research and development in aviation.

  • New Zealand Crushes Pakistan in T20I Opener – Jamieson Leads the Charge

New Zealand Crushes Pakistan in T20I Opener – Jamieson Leads the Charge

Christchurch, New Zealand: New Zealand is ahead 1-0 in the five-match T20I series against Pakistan. In the first match, New Zealand bowled out Pakistan for just 91 runs in 18.4 overs. New Zealand chased down the target quickly, finishing at 92 runs for just one wicket lost in only 10.1 overs.

After the match, New Zealand captain Michael Bracewell praised the fans and mentioned it was tough to manage bowler Kyle Jamieson, who was ready to bowl his fourth over. “It was a fantastic day in front of such a great crowd. We’ve played against Pakistan before, and having them in the same team made it hard for them to recover. I had to hold Kyle back for one over. He was eager to bowl, and maybe if I had let him bowl that over, we could have limited Pakistan to an even lower score. It’s always challenging to manage bowlers in T20 matches,” said Bracewell.

Kyle Jamieson, who was the Player of the Match, also shared his thoughts. He felt great to be playing at home and enjoyed the bowling conditions. He praised his teammates for their depth and ability to handle the situation. He mentioned how much he appreciated his bowling partner Jacob Duffy and also Zakary Foulkes.

“It felt good to be back on home soil. The conditions were perfect for us, and Duff and I did well. We expected some big hits, but we managed to keep our bowling steady. It was a great team win. We have strong players who can take advantage of these conditions, and our bowling performance today was impressive,” Jamieson added.

Despite new changes in their team led by Salman Agha, Pakistan struggled against New Zealand’s fast bowlers, losing by nine wickets in their first T20I match on Sunday. The Pakistani team had three debutants: Hasan Nawaz and Abdul Samad scored only a few runs, while bowler Mohammed Ali also made his first appearance.

Usually, the Chinese Premier goes to these meetings in Brussels, and the President hosts them in China. The EU wanted Xi to attend because they think this 50th anniversary is important.

Relations between China and Europe have gotten tense since Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022. The EU accuses China of supporting Russia. Last year, the EU also put tariffs (extra charges) on Chinese electric vehicles. Talks are happening to set a date for the meeting and to decide who will represent China, but the Chinese government said they have no new information about it. The EU has not yet commented on this news.

Power Outage in Panama: Explosion Leads to Nationwide Blackout

A large power outage has left Panama in darkness after an explosion and fire at the La Chorrera Thermoelectric Power Plant. Officials believe the incident was caused by a “technical fault” in one of the generators, shutting down electricity all over the country.

Firefighters are working hard to put out the fire, and officials say that power will slowly come back in the next few hours. Panama’s President, Jose Raul Mulino, reached out to people through social media. He said, “The Director of ETESA tells me that a private power generator caused the problem. We will restore service gradually. Please stay calm.”

The blackout has also affected drinking water. Many water treatment plants need electricity to work, so there is currently no drinking water available. Authorities have assured everyone that staff are ready on-site to turn the systems back on as soon as power is restored.

Residents are asked to be patient while teams work to fix the situation and bring back important services across the country.

  • Why Tech Spending is Key: Insights on India’s IT Future

Why Tech Spending is Key: Insights on India’s IT Future

Technology spending is now more important than ever. Indian IT companies are growing faster than those in other countries because they have lots of talented people and a successful way of operating—this trend is expected to keep going, even if there are some ups and downs along the way.

At HDFC AMC, they invest in many tech areas like IT services, software, telecom, and internet media. These areas change quickly and have different ways of making money. In their investment strategy, they look at both big, successful companies and newer ones that are shaking things up—choosing a mix of reliable favorites and exciting newcomers.

A big part of India’s tech success comes from IT services, but that’s changing. Companies in India are now becoming leaders in new areas like Software as a Service (SaaS), artificial intelligence (AI), and fintech. These startups are growing quickly in fields like e-commerce, food delivery, and payment solutions, giving HDFC AMC more options to invest in.

Even with recent global slowdowns in tech spending, HDFC AMC remains positive about the Indian IT sector for the next 3 to 5 years. Tech spending has become essential and continues to rise as a part of our economies. They expect this growth trend to remain strong. After a fast period during the pandemic, growth is returning to more normal levels, depending on global economic conditions.

When investing in sector-focused funds like HDFC Technology Fund, it’s essential for retail investors to remember that these funds can be riskier. They focus on specific areas, meaning they could see more ups and downs.

One exciting new trend is quick commerce, which delivers products fast. While this is still a small market, it shows how much customers want speed. Companies will need to spend to get more customers and build better systems. Some stores in this space are already making profits. As competition lowers and spending settles, quick commerce may become a good business, like food delivery has.

  • Supreme Court to Hear Serious Case on Complaints Against Judges

Supreme Court to Hear Serious Case on Complaints Against Judges

New Delhi – The Supreme Court will listen to a special case on March 18 about complaints made against high court judges. The court had earlier put a pause on the Lokpal’s order, which allowed these complaints, because they found it very concerning for the independence of judges.

A group of three judges, led by Justices B R Gavai, Surya Kant, and Abhay S Oka, will discuss this issue. The case began after an order was made by the Lokpal on January 27. When the Supreme Court reviewed it on February 20, they were troubled by the Lokpal’s actions and decided to stop it temporarily.

The Supreme Court also asked the government and Lokpal to provide responses, as well as the person who made the complaints against a high court judge. The Solicitor General, Tushar Mehta, explained that high court judges should not be included under the Lokpal rules from 2013.

In this case, there were two complaints against an additional judge of the high court. The complaints claimed that the judge tried to influence another judge and helped a private company that was formerly his client while he was still a lawyer. The Lokpal decided to send the complaints to the Chief Justice of India for further guidance but made it clear that they haven’t looked into the complaints deeply yet. They also instructed the complainant to keep the judge’s name and the complaint private for now, acting carefully to protect the judge’s reputation.
