JD(U) Concerns: Will BJP Replace Nitish Kumar Before 2025 Elections?

The JD(U) party, led by Nitish Kumar in Bihar, is worried about the recent political changes in Maharashtra. There, Eknath Shinde was taken out of his job as Chief Minister, and now Devendra Fadnavis is back in charge. The BJP, part of the ruling alliance, has promised that Nitish Kumar will lead Bihar in the 2025 assembly elections. However, JD(U) leaders fear that the BJP might try to push Nitish aside if they get close to winning a majority in the 243-seat assembly.

Although JD(U) leaders haven’t spoken openly about this, some senior members are nervous about what the BJP might do. They remember how, in Maharashtra, Shinde was the choice for Chief Minister but was removed after the BJP gained a majority.

Inside JD(U), the big worry is if the BJP will try to replace Nitish Kumar if they reach the important 122-seat mark needed for a majority in Bihar. In the last assembly elections in 2020, JD(U) got only 43 seats, while the BJP won 74. Still, Nitish was made Chief Minister thanks to the support of the BJP leaders, even though he felt uneasy about accepting the role due to his party’s weakness.

Some believe the situation in Bihar is different. A JD(U) leader mentioned that unlike Shinde, Nitish has strong support from the people in Bihar. He highlighted that JD(U)’s vote share is very important to the NDA alliance’s strength in the state.

JD(U) spokesperson Neeraj Kumar emphasized that Nitish’s position in Bihar is significant, regardless of differing opinions. Political experts think the BJP won’t replace him since there’s no good alternative. They argue that if Nitish leaves the NDA, it could create serious problems for the BJP.

JD(U) has also shown it is not pleased with the BJP on specific social and political issues. For example, JD(U) spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan Prasad criticized a recent decision in Assam to ban beef consumption, saying it could lead to societal divisions and calling for individual rights.

As the political situation in Bihar develops, JD(U) is keeping a close watch on the BJP’s actions ahead of the 2025 assembly elections, knowing their future might depend on how well the NDA operates together.

Prince William in Paris: Meetings with Trump and Biden at Notre Dame

Prince William, the UK’s royal, is visiting Paris to help celebrate the reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral. While there, he will meet with Jill Biden, the outgoing First Lady of the United States, and Donald Trump, the President-elect.

Trump arrived in Paris for his first international trip after winning the election. He is excited to attend the special ceremony at Notre Dame, which was damaged by a fire in 2019. French President Emmanuel Macron invited several world leaders to this important event.

Trump landed at Orly Airport early in the morning and will have a meeting with Macron later in the afternoon. There are also talks about him meeting with Ukraine’s leader, Volodymyr Zelensky, due to concerns about Russia’s actions in the region.

During the ceremony around 6:00 PM GMT, Trump is expected to join many other leaders to celebrate the cathedral’s restoration. He praised Macron for his efforts and stated it will be a wonderful day.

Despite their previous disagreements, Macron is keen to make this visit special for Trump, just like he did in 2017. However, not everyone wanted to attend; European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen decided to stay back due to a disagreement with Macron.

  • Gavaskar Questions Indian Bowlers After Travis Head’s Century

Gavaskar Questions Indian Bowlers After Travis Head’s Century

Cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar was surprised by how Indian bowlers played against Australia’s Travis Head on Day 2 of the second Test in Adelaide. Head scored a fast century, helping Australia take control in the pink-ball match. He made an impressive 140 runs off just 141 balls, hitting 17 fours and 4 sixes.

Gavaskar pointed out that Indian bowlers missed chances to put pressure on Head. He reminded viewers that Head performed similarly in earlier important matches, like the World Test Championship (WTC) and the ODI World Cup finals, where he also scored big runs.

“It’s confusing. We saw the same problem in important matches before. We didn’t challenge him enough,” Gavaskar mentioned during a discussion on Star Sports.

He specifically criticized bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj, saying they didn’t make it hard for Head to score runs. “You have to ask them why they didn’t bowl challenging deliveries. Australian players are very good at handling normal balls,” he explained.

Siraj eventually dismissed Head after his impressive innings, but Australia ended their first innings with a strong lead of 157 runs. For India, Bumrah and Siraj were the best bowlers, taking 4 wickets each as Australia outscored India, making 337 runs in reply to India’s 180.

  • Nithin Kamath Exposes Shocking Stock Market Scams: What Investors Must Know!”

Nithin Kamath Exposes Shocking Stock Market Scams: What Investors Must Know!”

Zerodha’s founder, Nithin Kamath, shared an important warning on social media about the dangers of stock market scams. He pointed out two recent cases that the market regulator, SEBI, took action against: Trafiksol ITS Technologies and a popular financial influencer known as “Baap of Chart.”

In the first case, Trafiksol raised ₹44 crores through an IPO (Initial Public Offering), claiming they would buy software. But the company providing this software was a fake, with made-up financial details and a fake client list. Instead of being careful, many investors eagerly bought shares in this IPO, oversubscribing it by 345 times!

SEBI investigated and found three key problems: the software vendor couldn’t actually deliver anything, the financials were fake, and the selection process of the vendor was suspicious. Because of this, SEBI canceled Trafiksol’s IPO and told the company to return the money to the investors.

The second case involved “Baap of Chart.” This person was a well-known financial influencer who promised his followers huge returns in the stock market. However, SEBI discovered that he was running an unauthorized investment advisory service and took money from many unsuspecting investors. As a result, SEBI has stopped him from being involved with the securities market and ordered him to refund the money he collected.

Kamath has been sharing warnings like this for some time. Recently, he mentioned how scammers are using AI technology to trick people, following reports of a tech worker who lost ₹91 lakh in an online scam.

Remember: If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

Bihar Police Clears Up Confusion About Khan Sir’s Arrest – Key Updates!

Bihar Police cleared up confusion on Saturday about the arrest of a popular tutor and YouTuber known as Khan Sir. They explained that he went to a police station on his own to show support for protesters who were arrested during a demonstration at the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) office.

Anu Kumari, a Sub-Divisional Police Officer, warned that action would be taken against the social media account ‘Khan Global Studies’ for spreading false information about Khan Sir’s arrest. She confirmed that he was not arrested.

Khan Sir had joined the protesters after they were pushed back by police using batons in Patna. These students were protesting changes to the rules for the upcoming BPSC exam scheduled for December 13.

Police said Khan Sir left the station after asking officers to drop him off near his car. He had gone to show his support to students injured during the protest. The protests were against how the BPSC planned to conduct the exam, which students said was unfair.

Despite the protests, the BPSC announced that it would not change how the exam will be held and that it would take place on December 13, with around 500,000 candidates expected to participate.

  • Ashwin and Rohit Disappointed with Pant as Head Shines in Pink-Ball Test

Ashwin and Rohit Disappointed with Pant as Head Shines in Pink-Ball Test

In a recent pink-ball Test match, Indian cricket stars Ravichandran Ashwin and captain Rohit Sharma were surprised by wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant’s lack of excitement during an appeal for a wicket. It happened on Day 2 when Ashwin took the wicket of Australian batsman Mitchell Marsh. While Pant did shout for the catch, he didn’t seem very enthusiastic afterward, which caught the attention of Rohit Sharma. Rohit even spoke to Pant after the celebration because he expected a more lively reaction from him, since Pant is usually known for being very vocal and energetic. In the end, Marsh was given out by the umpire after scoring just 9 runs.

On the same day, Travis Head from Australia played impressively, scoring a quick century and pushing Australia’s lead to over 100 runs. He reached his 100 runs in just 111 balls and hit many boundaries all around the field. He partnered with Marnus Labuschagne, who made 64 runs, to build a good partnership of 65 runs. However, Nitish Kumar Reddy helped India by taking Labuschagne’s wicket with a fantastic catch from Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Starting the day with a score of 86-1, Australia faced a stronger attack from the Indian bowlers. Jasprit Bumrah bowled accurately, while Mohammed Siraj made better deliveries than the first day. This led to two quick wickets in just 40 minutes. Opening batsman Nathan McSweeney was caught behind for 39 runs. He and Labuschagne had a good partnership of 67 runs before Bumrah broke through. Bumrah also took another wicket in the morning when Steve Smith was out for just 2 runs.

  • SBI Lowers India’s GDP Growth Forecast for 2025 to 6.3%: Key Insights

SBI Lowers India’s GDP Growth Forecast for 2025 to 6.3%: Key Insights

SBI, India’s biggest bank, has lowered its prediction for the country’s economic growth in 2025 to 6.3%. This is less than what the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) expects, which is 6.6%. The latest economic report from SBI shows that the Indian economy isn’t growing as quickly as needed, especially after the RBI reduced its own forecast from 7.2% to 6.6%.

Key points from the report include:

    – In the first half of 2025, growth was only about 6.05%.
    – Although some signs show that the economy is improving, like during festive seasons, the overall growth in the second quarter was just 5.4%, the lowest in almost two years.
    – Rising prices, especially for food, are also causing problems.

SBI pointed out that these kinds of downward revisions of growth projections have happened before. In past years, similar downgrades occurred due to various challenges.

The decrease in growth numbers is worrying for many, especially as consumers are buying less. Families are spending less money on both essential goods and fancy items like cars because of falling incomes and high prices.

This slower growth is not just a problem for individuals but for the whole country too. India’s goal of becoming the third-largest economy by 2030 looks harder to achieve. A weaker economy means fewer new jobs and challenges in improving living standards for everyone.

The global economy is also facing troubles, making it even harder for India. Tightened financial conditions in other countries and global uncertainties are affecting investor confidence and how much other countries want to buy from India.

SBI advises policymakers to keep a close watch on economic changes. The RBI plans to help by lowering the cash reserve ratio (CRR), which will give banks more money to lend. This could help support the economy, but it’s essential to fix deeper issues to ensure long-term growth
