Agra Techie’s Heartbreaking Final Message Before Suicide: A Call for Help
A 30-year-old man from Agra took his own life on February 24, and before he died, he blamed his wife in a video. His sister told India Today that he was scared of facing legal problems while trying to get a divorce. The man worked in tech and got married on January 30, 2022.
In his last video, he said, “Please think about men,” and asked that his parents not be hurt after his death. His wife later claimed that he was sometimes abusive, especially when drinking, and that he had tried to end his life before.
The man’s sister explained that he found out his wife was having affairs and they were planning to file for a divorce together in January 2025. However, he believed the process would be difficult and that laws favored women.
She also mentioned that another woman had told her brother that his wife and her sisters were known for hurting married men. This made him anxious about getting a divorce. After looking through his phone, she became convinced that he was pushed to the brink when he thought his wife wouldn’t agree to a divorce easily.
Now, they’ve filed a complaint with the police to prevent this from happening to someone else.

Heavy Snowfall Disrupts Himachal Pradesh Travel: Safety Tips Inside
Heavy snowfall in Himachal Pradesh’s Lahaul and Spiti areas has created deep snow on the roads, making travel very difficult. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) says a new weather pattern called a “western disturbance” will bring more rain and snow to the northern hills in the next few days.
Many roads in Himachal Pradesh are blocked, disrupting regional travel. In lower Kullu district, continuous heavy rain has caused flash floods that swept away some vehicles and trapped others in mud. Landslides have also occurred in various parts of the state.
Photos showed an avalanche sweeping away a Border Roads Organisation (BRO) crew in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli, where rescue efforts are ongoing despite bad weather.
According to the Himachal Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority, 583 roads, including five National Highways, are blocked. Additionally, 279 water supply systems are affected, and 2,263 power transformers are down due to the snow and rain.
IMD’s senior scientist Sandeep Kumar Sharma explained that the bad weather came from the western disturbances that started on February 25 and continued until late last night. He mentioned, “Another western disturbance will start on March 2, and its effects will be felt on March 3. Areas like Kangra, Chamba, and Lahaul Spiti will see heavy snowfall, while Kullu and Mandi will experience heavy rain.”
However, the weather is expected to improve starting March 5. IMD Scientist Dr. Soma Sen Roy mentioned that moderate thunderstorms are likely in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and sub-Himalayan West Bengal. There might also be heavy rain in Arunachal Pradesh. She noted that South India is experiencing heavy rainfall due to easterly winds affecting Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Lakshadweep.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu advised people to stay away from rivers and streams due to the dangerous weather conditions. He also encouraged everyone to be careful and follow safety guidelines from local officials.

Uttarakhand Avalanche: 4 Dead, 5 Workers Still Missing in Mana Rescue Efforts
A terrible avalanche occurred in the small village of Mana, located in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district. At least four workers lost their lives after being trapped under the snow. On Friday morning, 55 workers from the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) were caught in the avalanche. Thankfully, 50 of them were rescued, but search efforts are ongoing for the remaining five workers.
The avalanche struck the BRO camp between 5:30 AM and 6 AM, burying the workers under eight containers and a shed. Rescue teams have faced tough conditions, battling heavy snowfall and freezing temperatures while trying to reach the trapped workers.
Sandeep Tiwari, the district magistrate of Chamoli, reported that two of the workers were on leave when the avalanche hit. The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and the Indian Army started rescue operations quickly, despite the bad weather. Rain and snow made it hard to work, so the efforts were paused as night fell.
On Saturday, the weather got a little better, and helicopters were sent in to help the rescue efforts. Six helicopters, including three from the Indian Army and two from the Indian Air Force, were used since the roads were blocked.
Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami, visited the area by helicopter to see the damage. He spoke with one injured worker who was being airlifted to a hospital for treatment. Dhami reassured everyone that the government is doing everything possible to help the affected workers and ensure their safety.

Heavy rain and falling rocks have closed the Rishikesh-Badrinath National Highway near Karnaprayag in Uttarakhand, according to news agency ANI. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) warns that light to moderate rainfall and snowfall will continue on March 3 and 4 because of a new weather system affecting North India.
