Great news for fans of Jr NTR! His new film with director Prashanth Neel, called “NTR Neel,” has officially started filming. The exciting announcement was made on social media by Jr NTR and the production company, Mythri Movie Makers. They shared a cool picture of Prashanth directing a scene.

In the photo, Prashanth is standing on a vehicle, while many extras are gathered behind a police barricade. You can see a damaged Ambassador car that looks like it was in an accident, with broken bicycles and a fire nearby.

The production team wrote, “The SOIL finally welcomes its REIGN to leave a MARK in the HISTORY books of Indian Cinema! #NTRNeel shoot has officially begun. A whole new wave of ACTION & EUPHORIA is ready to grip the Masses.” Jr NTR also shared the photo on his Instagram, saying, “And it begins…#NTRNeel.”

This film was announced on Jr NTR’s birthday in 2022. Last May, Prashanth shared a special poster and said filming would start in August, but only a prayer ceremony happened then. Initially, they wanted to start shooting in March last year, but there were many delays. Now, filming has finally kicked off! The movie is expected to be released in 2026. After the prayer ceremony, the producers had teased, “This time, the earth will tremble under his reign! #NTRNeel will step onto the soil on January 9th, 2026.” We hope it releases on time!

Besides this film, Jr NTR will also make his Bollywood debut in “War 2,” directed by Ayan Mukherji, alongside Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani.

  • Samay Raina Summoned Over Controversial Comments on ‘India’s Got Latent

Samay Raina Summoned Over Controversial Comments on ‘India’s Got Latent

The Maharashtra Cyber Department has said that YouTuber Samay Raina will get a second summons because of comments he made on a show called “India’s Got Latent.” This follows Raina missing a meeting on February 18 to give his statement.

The Maharashtra Cyber Department stated that they will send the summons today to make sure Raina comes in to give his statement. Earlier, Raina asked if he could do the meeting via video call because he is currently in the United States and can’t return to India until March 17. However, the department denied his request, saying he must come in person.

The problem started when a guest on the show, podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, made a very inappropriate comment to a contestant. He asked a question that many people found offensive. This sparked a lot of anger, leading to a formal complaint against Allahbadia, Raina, comedian Apoorva Makhija, and the show’s organizers.

Raina later expressed his regret on Instagram, saying he only wanted to make people laugh. He took all videos of “India’s Got Latent” off his channel and said he would fully cooperate with any investigations.

After the backlash, multiple police reports were filed against those involved in different states, including Maharashtra and Assam. The Chief Minister of Assam confirmed that the police in Guwahati have filed a report against Allahbadia and Raina for promoting inappropriate content.

The Supreme Court also got involved, condemning Allahbadia’s comments. Justices described what he said as “shameful” and warned him not to take his popularity for granted. Allahbadia then asked the Supreme Court to combine the charges against him into one case. The Court agreed to hear his urgent plea and granted him temporary protection from arrest as long as he cooperates with the investigation.

The Court also mentioned that there is a lot of inappropriate content on platforms like YouTube and urged the government to take action against it. Justice Kant said, “We want the government to do something about this issue.”

The Maharashtra Women’s Commission praised the Supreme Court for stepping in and demanding that the show be stopped. Chairperson Rupali Chakankar said the Court’s action was appropriate and needed. The Commission had already requested an investigation into the incident.

  • Arati Kadav’s ‘Mrs’: A Fresh Take on Feminism in Film

Arati Kadav’s ‘Mrs’: A Fresh Take on Feminism in Film

New Delhi: Arati Kadav took on the big job of remaking the popular film “The Great Indian Kitchen” into Hindi, calling it “Mrs.” She aimed to keep the strong feminist message while sharing her own experiences as a woman. The movie stars Sanya Malhotra as Richa, a dancer who enters an arranged marriage but feels trapped in endless kitchen chores. People have praised the film for its good adaptation.

In an interview, Kadav talked about how “The Great Indian Kitchen” tells a strong story about the lives of women like our mothers and aunts. She believed it was important to tell this story responsibly. Kadav said, “I treated the original like a book.”

In “Mrs,” Richa faces criticism for tasting food while cooking, which comes from Kadav’s personal memories. The film includes many real-life stories from women, keeping some scenes from the original, like the leaking kitchen pipeline, which symbolizes patriarchy. Kadav said, “This film is not just about what is said, but what is meant… The pipeline represents an old problem that needs fixing.”

Kadav emphasized the loneliness many women feel, adding quiet moments to show their struggles. Unlike the original, which looked down on the story, she gave Richa a name to connect more deeply with her emotions. She told how important it is for women to return to cooking, even after they have faced emotional challenges.

Kadav called “Mrs” very personal, sharing the complicated sides of gender issues as a woman in her 40s. She praised Sanya Malhotra’s performance, saying, “She truly lived every moment of that character, even feeling the emotional weight.” Making the film was a careful process filled with love and responsibility.

Kadav started as a director’s assistant and worked on short films before her debut with “Cargo,” which mixed mythology with science fiction. She mentioned how people often see early filmmaking as just a hobby. She’s already written a new story and hopes to turn it into a movie with help from producer Deepa Motwane.

“I like to take my time creating my shots. I prefer making feature films instead of quick series,” Kadav shared.

Shrima Rai Speaks Out Against Social Media Backlash and Misrepresentation

Aishwarya Rai’s sister-in-law, Shrima Rai, recently faced a lot of criticism online. Many people accused her of using Aishwarya’s fame for her own benefit. In an interview with Mohsinaa Ahmad on YouTube, Shrima talked about how she felt hurt by this negative portrayal, which made her seem like a “shady character.”

She explained that an incident last November was misunderstood, and before she could explain, she was labeled as part of a “Bollywood drama.” Shrima expressed her disappointment that people ignored her hard work as a blogger. She said, “I didn’t want my connection to the family to be my claim to fame.”

She added that it was unfair for others to take credit away from her achievements without knowing the facts. Shrima noted that being compared to other women isn’t fair because everyone has their own unique journey.

In the past, many criticized her for not sharing pictures with Aishwarya and said that she gained fame through her sister-in-law. To clear the air, she posted on Instagram, stating her background as a banker and a winner of Gladrags Mrs. India Globe 2009 before becoming a blogger. She emphasized that she has built her own career and that’s important to her as a woman and a mother. However, she later deleted these posts.

On Wednesday, Priyanka wore a comfy grey jumpsuit, a matching cap, and black sunglasses. After getting out of the car with Malti, a fan asked for a selfie. Priyanka politely said, “I’m so sorry, I can’t take pictures; I’m with the baby.” The fan seemed a bit sad but then said, “I love you, Priyanka,” which made her smile.

Priyanka also chose not to talk to the paparazzi and covered Malti’s face to keep her away from the bright lights. Many fans were touched by their mother-daughter bond. One fan wrote, “So cute, Malti is sleeping in her mother’s arms,” while another said, “Hope to see you back in India soon.”

Last month, Priyanka visited India, spending time in Hyderabad before her brother’s wedding. After the wedding of Siddharth Chopra and Neelam Upadhyay, she went back to Hyderabad. This raised rumors that she might start filming for SS Rajamouli’s new movie, SSMB 29, alongside Mahesh Babu.

Priyanka also shared a video of her trip from Toronto to Hyderabad, playing a song from the movie RRR in the background. The filming for SSMB 29 began with a special ceremony in Hyderabad, but the team has kept Mahesh Babu’s look a secret. Rajkummar Rao’s ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’: The Same Old Story

Rajkummar Rao shared the teaser for his new movie, Bhool Chuk Maaf, on Tuesday. Fans noticed that he has a special talent for playing characters from small towns who want to get married. In this film, he portrays a young man from Banaras who is thrilled about his upcoming wedding.

Recently, Rajkummar has taken on similar roles in other movies like Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Waala Video, Stree 2, Hum Do Humare Do, and Roohi. A popular comedian named Akshat noticed this trend in a funny video. He joked that there are not many stories to tell in India anymore, except for tales of boys from small towns wanting to marry. He humorously remarked that Rajkummar Rao, who he called India’s best actor, has become famous for these roles.

Akshat also pointed out that while Rajkummar has tried different movie genres, he always returns to the small-town guy storyline. Viewers on the internet agreed with Akshat’s observations. Some shared their thoughts, saying they liked Rajkummar’s earlier movies but felt he became too focused on having the hero role. Others joked that after his film Citylights, he decided never to show big cities again.

Fans are worried about him getting stuck in the same type of comedy roles. One comment said, “I hate to see Rajkumar being typecast in the same types of comedy movies; he has much more potential.”

Bhool Chuk Maaf is directed by Karan Sharma and produced by Dinesh Vijan, in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios. In addition to this film, Rajkummar Rao will also appear in Maalik, which is set to release in theaters on June 20, 2025.
