British band Coldplay recently performed concerts in India, finishing with an exciting show in Ahmedabad over the weekend! During the concert, lead singer Chris Martin shared a funny moment when he jokingly said he is from Telangana, which made everyone laugh, including movie star Vijay Deverakonda.

While wrapping up their concerts, Chris said, “Thank you to the rest of the band. We’ve been brothers for 29 years. Most of you don’t know that all four of us were born in India, so we’re actually an Indian band.” He looked at bassist Guy Berryman and said, “He may look Scottish, but he is from Tamil Nadu. Everyone knows that I am from Telangana.” He also introduced drummer Will Champion, saying, “He is 100% Gujarati and is the one who keeps our band together.”

Vijay Deverakonda shared a part of this video on his Instagram story, welcoming Chris Martin to Telangana. He suggested that someone should mix the Coldplay music with a song called “Podusthunna Poddumeeda,” which is from a 2011 movie about the Telangana movement. It’s a song written and sung by the late Gaddar, who fought for the statehood of Telangana.

Vijay, who was last seen in the movie “The Family Star,” will soon be in new projects directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, Rahul Sankrityan, and Ravi Kiran Kola.

Saif Ali Khan, a well-known actor, had to go through several surgeries after being hurt at his home in Bandra on January 16. He got out of the hospital on January 21. After he was released, people online noticed he looked very healthy and began to question his quick recovery.

Lakshmi Manchu, a popular actress, called out IndiGo Airlines on Monday for how she was treated during a security check at the airport. In her tweets, she said the staff were rude and described a frustrating experience where one of her fellow passengers had to leave her bag behind because the security check took too long.

Lakshmi tweeted that airport workers took her bag aside for inspection but wouldn’t let her open it herself. She wrote, “My bag was pulled aside at @IndiGo6E and they wouldn’t let me look inside. They said they’d check it, or else my bag would be left in Goa. Someone please help! This is ridiculous, and the staff is being really rude.”

She added that even after she asked to see a security tag on her bag, they refused. “This is harassment @IndiGo6E. They didn’t put a security tag in front of me. Even if they say they’ll take responsibility if something is lost, I really doubt it. How can an airline operate like this?” she remarked.

In her final tweet, Lakshmi mentioned that people were pulled aside for unusual items like cutlery, and one girl had to leave her luggage behind because they couldn’t check her bag fast enough. She said, “They pulled people aside for sleep apnea machines, spoons, and forks! One girl left her luggage because they couldn’t check her bag on time! I’m done! @IndiGo6E loves making us feel uncomfortable.”

When someone commented, telling her to choose a different airline, she replied, “What can I do? They have the best flight times!”

IndiGo Airlines responded to Lakshmi’s complaints, explaining that her bag was taken aside because security had to check for illegal items. They said, “Ma’am, we understand you had a tough experience this morning. According to our records, your checked bag was held by security because of rules against carrying prohibited items. Thank you for working with our team and security to clear your baggage for check-in.”

Lakshmi was last seen in the Disney+ Hotstar series Yakshini and will soon appear in Adiparvam.

Mumbai fans can’t wait for the third season of “The Family Man”! Actor Priyamani shared that this new season will be a thrilling “roller coaster ride”. In the upcoming season, Manoj Bajpayee’s character, Srikant, will face serious threats to the country’s safety while trying hard to fix his relationship with his wife, Suchitra, played by Priyamani.
