    UPSC CSE 2025: Apply by Today! Key Details & Important Dates

    The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is closing the application process for the Civil Services Preliminary Examination (CSE) today, February 21, 2025. This is your last chance to apply!

    Initially, the deadline was February 11, but it was extended first to February 18 and now to February 21. You must submit your application by 6:00 PM today. After that, you can correct any mistakes in your application from February 22 to February 28.

    The UPSC CSE Prelims will take place on May 25, 2025. This year, around 979 job openings will be filled in various government services.

    To apply, you need to create a One-Time Registration (OTR) profile, which you will keep for life. This profile makes it easy for you to submit your application.

    Remember, the exam has two parts: Prelims and Mains (a written test and an interview). There will be a penalty for incorrect answers, so choose wisely!

    ### Who Can Apply?
    – You must have a degree or equivalent qualification. If your results aren’t out yet, you can still apply, but you’ll need to show proof of passing if invited for the interview.
    – Candidates with professional degrees (like doctors or dentists) who haven’t completed their internships can apply, but must show proof of finishing it by the interview.
    – The age limit is 21-32 years old as of August 1, 2025. Some age relaxations are allowed for reserved categories.
    – The application fee is ₹100, but women, SC, ST, and persons with disabilities don’t need to pay.

    ### How Many Attempts?
    – General category candidates can attempt the exam six times.
    – OBC candidates get nine attempts.
    – There’s no limit for SC or ST candidates.

    RRB Recruitment 2025: Apply for 32,438 Assistant Positions Now

    The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) are giving you more time to apply for 32,438 job openings as Assistants and other positions. You can now submit your application until March 1, 2025, at 11:59 PM. This is an extension from the original deadline of February 22, 2025.

    Key Dates to Remember:
    1. Application Start Date: January 23, 2025
    2. Application Deadline: March 1, 2025
    3. Last Date to Pay Fees: March 3, 2025
    4. Correction Window: March 4 – March 13, 2025

    These jobs are for Level 1 positions as part of the Centralised Employment Notification (CEN 08/2024). Candidates can check the detailed breakdown of job vacancies by post and railway zone in annexure B of the official notification.

    Eligibility Criteria:
    – You must have completed Class 10, ITI, or an equivalent course.
    – Your age should be between 18 and 36 years as of January 1, 2025.

    Selection Process:
    To get selected, you will go through four stages:
    1. Computer Based Test (CBT)
    2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
    3. Document Verification
    4. Medical Examination

    The CBT will have 100 questions, and you will have 90 minutes to complete it. If you answer a question incorrectly, one-third of the points for that question will be taken away. You’ll need to score at least 40% if you’re in the General or EWS category, and 30% if you belong to OBC (non-creamy layer), SC, or ST categories to pass.

    Application Fees:
    – For PwBD, Female, Transgender, Ex-Servicemen, SC, ST, Minority Community, and Economically Backward Class (EBC) candidates: ₹250
    – For all other candidates: ₹500

    Once you appear for the CBT, candidates from the first group can get their fees refunded after some charges, while others will receive a refund of ₹400 after the exam.

    Hyundai Motor India Awards ₹3.38 Crore in Scholarships to 783 Students

    Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF) has given out scholarships worth ₹3.38 crore through its Hyundai Hope Scholarship Program. This program started in August 2024 and aims to help talented students from low-income families. They received applications from 23 states across India and chose 783 deserving students.

    Among these students, 440 are getting ready for exams to become civil servants, while 343 are part of teams from various Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) working on cool projects that could help society and the environment.

    The scholarships were given out by Kiren Rijiju, the Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs. He praised the Hyundai Hope Scholarship Program, saying it shows how much HMIL cares about India’s future. He noted that the program not only gives financial help but also encourages and empowers young people to make a difference.

    Sivaramakrishnan, a trustee of HMIF, added that this scholarship program is creating future leaders and innovators. The good work these students do will positively affect not just themselves and their families, but everyone.

    Eligibility to Apply

    SSC CHSL 2024 Final Results Released – Check Your Status Now

    The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has shared the final results for the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (CHSL) for 2024. You can check your results on their official website, ssc.gov.in. A total of 3,421 candidates have been recommended for jobs, but they must still pass a document check that will be done by the user departments.

    The SSC held the CHSL tier 1 exam from July 1 to July 11, 2024, and they announced the results on September 6, 2024. Based on the tier 1 exam scores, they selected 39,835 candidates for the tier 2 exam, which took place on November 18, 2024.

    On February 4, 2025, the candidates could fill out a preference form, and 27,092 of them submitted their choices to move forward in the selection process.

    Each category has specific cut-off marks for different parts of the exam, including typing tests and other assessments. The departments will now verify documents and finalize job placements. If a candidate does not hear back within a few months after the final results, they should reach out to the department that will handle their documents.

    Please note that the commission will not create any backup or waiting lists. If any selected candidates decide not to join, those job openings will be available in future years. The SSC will soon publish the detailed scores of all candidates and the final answers on their website.

    Good news for students wanting to become teachers! Bundelkhand University has started the registration process for the UP B.Ed Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2025. Here’s what you need to know:

    The National Testing Agency (NTA) just released the final answer key for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2025. If you took this test, you can easily grab the answer key from the official CMAT website at exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT.

    The CMAT exam took place on January 25, 2025, in two shifts across 107 cities, with a total of 178 exam centers using computer-based testing. Out of 74,012 registered candidates, 63,145 actually sat for the exam. Of those, 34,717 were female, and 39,293 were male.

    Here’s a special note: the final answer key shows that 8 questions had two correct answers. So, if you took the exam, don’t miss out on downloading the answer key by following these simple steps:

    How to Download the CMAT 2025 Final Answer Key:
    1. Go to the official website at exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT.
    2. Click on the link for the CMAT 2025 final answer key on the homepage.

    Also, since the test was held in two shifts, the marks were calculated into a National Testing Agency (NTA) score. This score means how well you did compared to others in your shift. The formula is this:

    NTA score for CMAT = (100 x Number of candidates with the same or lower score) ÷ (Total number of candidates in that session).
