    The Science Olympiad Federation (SOF) is getting ready to share the results for the International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) 2024-25! You can find them on their official website, sofworld.org. The answer keys for the test are already out, and students are eagerly waiting for their results.

    Recently, the federation also announced the results for the National Science Olympiad (NSO) and International English Olympiad (IEO). Once the IMO results are published, students can easily check their scores by following these steps:

    1. Go to the SOF official website, sofworld.org.
    2. Click on “Read More” under the results tab.
    3. Choose the exam name (SOF IMO 2024-25) from the dropdown list.
    4. Enter your roll number.
    5. Submit your info to view your result!

    About the SOF International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO)

    The IMO is a yearly competition for students in classes 1 to 12. It tests their skills in math reasoning and logical thinking. Here’s what you need to know:

    – The exam is divided into two levels.
    – Level 1 is open to all classes from 1 to 12.
    – Level 2 is for students in Classes 3 to 12.
    – Only the top 5 percent of students from Level 1 can take Level 2.

    The Level 1 exam took place on October 22, November 19, and December 12, 2024. Remember, only schools can apply for the exam, and students cannot sign up individually; they have to go through their schools.

    Winners of the IMO will receive exciting awards and scholarships, including international, zonal, and school top awards. The top three students in the world will win cash prizes, medals, and certificates. Schools and teachers will also be recognized for supporting their students’ achievements with various awards and appreciation certificates.

    Bihar Appoints New VCs for Four Universities Amid Changes

    On Thursday, Raj Bhawan appointed new vice chancellors (VCs) for four universities in Bihar. These positions were filled after being managed by temporary leaders since August 2004. The appointment for a fifth university, which will be vacant on January 14, will take place later.

    Sanjoy Kumar, who was the pro-VC at Nalanda Open University, has been named the VC of Munger University. Prof. Vivekanand Singh from NIT Patna is now in charge of Purnea University. Both of these universities were run by interim leaders since August 2024.

    For Nalanda Open University, Prof. Ravindra Kumar, who teaches Philosophy at Patna University and was also a former pro-VC at BRA Bihar University in Muzaffarpur, has been appointed as the new VC. He will replace the old VC, KC Sinha, who left in August.

    These appointments were made by the Governor, who is also the Chancellor of state universities, after discussing with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

    Also, Dr. Inderjeet Singh has been appointed as the VC of the Bihar Animal Sciences University, which was previously managed by the Bihar Agriculture University VC.

    The new VCs will serve for three years starting from when they take office. According to a former VC, the selection considered both qualifications and the social aspects, showing the government’s intentions during election season.

    Meanwhile, Aryabhatt Knowledge University VC Sharad Kumar Yadav has been given temporary charge of Pataliputra University starting January 15.

    In August 2024, Raj Bhawan had put three state universities under temporary management until new VCs could be appointed. The chancellor’s office had called for applications for VC positions in June 2024, and interviews were completed while the previous Governor, Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, was in office.

    The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results for the CTET 2024 exam. If you took the exam, you can check your results on the official CBSE CTET website at ctet.nic.in.

    About the Exam:
    The CTET exam happened in December and had two parts: Paper I and Paper II. Paper II took place in the morning from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, while Paper I took place in the afternoon from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. To view your results, you’ll need your roll number.

    Exam Details:
    – Paper I is for those who want to teach grades I to V.
    – Paper II is for those who want to teach grades VI to VIII.

    CTET Certificate Information:
    Your CTET qualifying certificate lasts a lifetime and is valid for all categories. There is no limit to how many times you can take the exam. If you pass, you can take it again to try to improve your score!

    CBSE CTET 2024: Exam Results and Objection Details Explained!

    The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has finished holding the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for December 2024 on December 14 and 15. After the exam, they released a provisional answer key on December 5, which helps students check their answers.

    Raising Objections on the Answer Key

    If students think there is a mistake in the answer key, they can raise objections! The objection window opens on January 1 and closes on January 5, 2025. To challenge an answer, students need to pay ₹1,000 for each question. Remember, this fee is non-refundable!

    Payment can be made using a credit or debit card. CBSE says that after reviewing the challenges with experts, if any objection is accepted, the fee will be returned. The refund will go back to the card used to make the payment, so be sure to use your card!

    Final Answer Key and Results

    The final CTET results will be based on the final answer key, which will be updated after reviewing valid objections. CBSE assures students that their decisions will be final, and there won’t be any further discussions about it.
