Tahawwur Rana Faces Extradition Over Mumbai Terror Attacks

Tahawwur Rana, who is linked to the Mumbai terror attacks, is expected to be sent back to India from the U.S. soon, according to sources. An Indian team is already in the U.S. to finish the required paperwork for his extradition.

Rana, 64 years old, is currently in a detention center in Los Angeles. His last attempt to avoid extradition failed when the U.S. Supreme Court rejected his application. This decision brings him closer to facing charges in India for his role in the Mumbai attacks, which resulted in the deaths of 166 people, including six Americans.

Recently, Rana applied to the Supreme Court to stop his extradition, claiming he could be tortured if sent back to India. He argued that because of his health issues—like heart problems and Parkinson’s disease—being extradited could be life-threatening for him.

Rana has connections to David Coleman Headley, one of the main planners of the Mumbai attacks. In a previous press conference, former President Donald Trump mentioned that the U.S. approved Rana’s extradition to India.

The extradition process continues, and it looks likely that Rana will soon be on his way to India to face justice for his actions

Shahi Jama Masjid Renamed: The Controversy Sparks Debate

The Shahi Jama Masjid, a famous mosque, is making news again. This time, it’s because of a new sign from the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). The new sign calls the mosque “Juma Masjid,” which is different from the name people usually use, “Shahi Jama Masjid.”

Right now, the blue ASI sign is being kept at the Satyavrat police outpost. It will replace an older sign that said “Shahi Jama Masjid.” According to the ASI’s lawyer, Vishnu Sharma, a sign was put up before, but some people took it down and replaced it with the name “Shahi Jama Masjid.” The new sign follows the name found in ASI records, which is “Juma Masjid.”

A similar blue ASI sign is already inside the mosque. However, the ASI has not said when the new sign will be put up. The mosque, which was built during the Mughal era, has been in the news because some people claimed it was built on the site of an old Hindu temple.

Violence broke out last November during a survey related to the mosque in a nearby area called Kot Garvi, leading to tragic results with four people losing their lives and many others getting hurt.

Rohit Sharma’s Impact Sub Role: A Debate Between Coaches

Former Indian batting coach Sanjay Bangar is not happy with the Mumbai Indians (MI) decision to use Rohit Sharma, their former captain, as an “impact substitute.” He believes MI’s current captain, Hardik Pandya, needs Rohit’s experience, especially since Rohit has led MI to five IPL titles and knows how to handle tough situations in games.

In their recent match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, where MI lost by 12 runs, Bangar argued on ESPNCricinfo that having Rohit on the field could help Hardik. Rohit has been used as a substitute multiple times this season, but Bangar feels his leadership skills are missed.

However, former player Ambati Rayudu disagrees. He believes captains should be allowed to make their own decisions and shouldn’t have too many people giving them advice. This led to a debate between Bangar and Rayudu. Bangar stated that it’s important to have experienced players on the field, while Rayudu stressed that it’s Hardik’s team now, and Rohit can advise from the sidelines.

MI head coach Mahela Jayawardene acknowledged that Rohit has been struggling in his batting lately, especially during the powerplay, where he has scored very few runs this season. But Jayawardene is confident that Rohit will work hard to improve. He reminded fans that even the best players sometimes face challenges and must give credit to the bowlers as well.

Zia Ur Rehman Barq Questioned on Sambhal Mosque Violence: Aiming to Clear His Name

Samajwadi Party MP Zia Ur Rehman Barq was questioned by police on Tuesday about a violent incident that happened last year in Sambhal during a court-approved survey of a mosque. He arrived at the Nakhasa police station around 11:30 am, accompanied by more than ten lawyers, to give his statement to the Special Investigation Team (SIT) looking into the case.

Before going to the police station, he told reporters at his home in Deepa Sarai that even though he is not feeling well and his doctors advised him to rest, he wants to help the police and avoid any negative media attention. “I came today so everyone knows I’m not trying to escape the investigation,” he said. He also claimed that the case against him is unfounded and that he aims to clear his name.

The violence occurred on November 24 last year in the Kot Garvi area of Sambhal when people were surveying the Mughal-era Jama Masjid. This incident resulted in the deaths of four people due to gunfire, and many others were injured.

In a recent video, nutritionist Deepsikha Jain shared eight signs that show you may not have enough vitamin D. Here they are:

    1. Trouble Sleeping: If you’re tossing and turning at night and can’t get restful sleep, it might be a sign of vitamin D deficiency.

    2. Feeling Tired: Do you always feel tired and low on energy during the day? This could also mean you’re lacking vitamin D.

US Marine’s Inspiring Near-Death Experiences That Changed Everything

Dannion Brinkley, a 74-year-old former US Marine and businessman, has had several incredible near-death experiences. The first happened in 1975 when he was struck by lightning. Dannion described, “The lightning hit me on the side of my head, traveled down my back, and threw me into the air. I saw the ceiling above me, then I fell back down. I felt like I was on fire and couldn’t move.”

He was taken to the hospital but was declared dead by doctors. Miraculously, 30 minutes later, he woke up in the hospital morgue! During this time, he said he saw a bright light and had a flashback of his whole life.

For two years after the lightning strike, Dannion learned to walk again. But his journey didn’t stop there.

    His Second Near-Death Experience
Ten years later, Dannion faced death again during open-heart surgery. He wrote in a book called Saved by the Light that during this time, he met his “angelic guides.” They helped him discover new abilities to help those who are dying and suffering.

Some people doubt his stories, but expert Dr. Sam Parnia, a medicine professor at NYU Langone Health, shared that brain activity can continue for up to an hour after someone is revived. He found signs of consciousness that are real and different from dreams.

Now Dannion uses his experiences to inspire others. He believes that when you realize you’re a spiritual being and that you won’t go to hell, it can change your life for the better. He helps terminally ill patients and fellow veterans find hope by encouraging them not to fear death. He says, “Nobody truly dies; that’s not how reality works.”

The Chief Justice Sanjiv Khanna and Justice Sanjay Kumar had ruled on April 3 that all the 25,753 appointments were not valid because the hiring process was not fair. More updates are expected soon.

Microsoft Fires Employee After Protest at 50th Anniversary Celebration

Microsoft recently terminated one of its employees, Ibtihal Aboussad, after she protested during the company’s 50th anniversary celebration. Aboussad interrupted Mustafa Suleyman, the CEO of Microsoft AI, while he was speaking, accusing him of being a “war profiteer.” She pointed and yelled at him in front of a large audience.

Another employee, Vaniya Agrawal, also protested at the event but chose to leave the company instead. In an email to her coworkers, Agrawal mentioned that she would be quitting, with her last day being April 11.
