Mika Singh Reveals Drama on the Set of ‘Dangerous’ with Bipasha & Karan

Mika Singh is a famous singer and music producer. Just before the Covid-19 pandemic, he started producing a web series called “Dangerous,” which featured Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover. In a recent chat, Mika shared that filming the series was really tough and that Bipasha and Karan caused a lot of problems on set.

Mika told the KADAK YouTube channel that he wanted to cast Karan with a new actress, but then Bipasha joined in, and even though it didn’t push the budget too high, the filming experience was challenging. He took a team of 50 people to London for a month of shooting, but it ended up taking two months. Karan and Bipasha, being married, were supposed to share a hotel room, but they insisted on having separate rooms. Mika didn’t understand why they needed this. They even wanted to change hotels, and Mika agreed to that too.

On the day they were supposed to film a kissing scene (which was part of their contract), the couple refused to do it. Mika expressed his frustration, saying that even though they are well-known actors who usually praise big producers, their attitude changed when it came to working with smaller ones like him.

Mika mentioned that stars like Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar had warned him against becoming a producer and spending his money, but he went ahead anyway. “Dangerous” was released in August 2020 on MX Player but received mixed reactions and was canceled after just one season.

Bipasha and Karan first met while working on the 2015 horror film “Alone,” and they got married the following year. On November 12, 2022, they welcomed a daughter named Devi. Karan recently appeared in the movie “Fighter,” and Bipasha’s last appearance was in “Dangerous.

“Katra Protests: Town Shuts Down Over Vaishno Devi Ropeway Project

Katra, the main base for pilgrims visiting Vaishno Devi in Jammu and Kashmir, has been closed for five days straight. People are protesting against a new ropeway project planned in the Trikuta hills. BJP MLA Baldev Raj Sharma has threatened to start a hunger strike if the police don’t release those who were detained during earlier protests. Currently, five men are on a hunger strike, demanding the release of 18 protesters taken by police. The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Sangharsh Samiti, which organized the protest, has declared a complete shutdown in Katra. This means that all shops, restaurants, and businesses are closed, and there are no vehicles on the roads due to the protest. The shutdown began on Wednesday and has greatly affected daily life in Katra, where thousands come to visit the sacred cave shrine. Sharma joined the protest, encouraging people to stay united. He emphasized the need for the administration to release the detained protesters, adding that BJP leaders have brought this matter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s attention. The Sangharsh Samiti first called for the shutdown on December 25, and extended it because they want the ropeway project to be canceled and for the detained people to be freed. The ropeway, costing around Rs 250 crore, is designed to help older adults and children easily reach the cave shrine.

Devastating Plane Crash in South Korea: Families Grieve and Hope Dwindles”

Heartbreaking scenes unfolded at Muan International Airport in South Korea on Sunday after a passenger plane caught fire and skidded off the runway. Families gathered at the airport, anxiously waiting for news about their loved ones, only to hear the devastating update that survival chances were very slim. The Jeju Air flight was carrying 181 people when it crashed into a concrete structure near the airport, and sadly, most passengers are now presumed dead.

More than 100 concerned relatives filled a conference room at the airport, hoping to find their family members. Lee Jeong-hyeon, the head of the Muan Fire Department, arrived with the sad news that most people on board were likely lost. As the announcement sunk in, cries of grief echoed in the room. One family member asked, “Is there any chance anyone survived?” The chief lowered his head and sadly replied, “It’s unfortunate, but that’s what we’re seeing.”

The crash happened due to the airplane’s landing gear not deploying properly. The plane, which was returning from Bangkok, was 15 years old. Lee Jeong-hyeon commented that the plane was completely destroyed, with only the tail section remaining recognizable in the wreckage.

Around 1,560 firefighters, police officers, and soldiers were dispatched to help at the crash site. Authorities reported that just before landing, the airport control tower warned the plane about a possible bird strike. The pilot received permission to land elsewhere, but sent a distress signal shortly before losing control and hitting a wall.

Jeju Air expressed deep condolences for the crash and promised to do everything possible to help those affected.

Tycoon Lim Oon Kuin Declared Bankrupt After Oil Business Collapse”

Former businessman Lim Oon Kuin has been declared bankrupt in Singapore after his oil trading company faced big problems. Lim founded a company called Hin Leong Trading Pte. and his children, Lim Huey Ching and Lim Chee Meng, were also involved in the business. On December 19, it was announced that all three are now bankrupt.

At its best, Hin Leong traded many oil products and ran facilities to store and manage oils. But everything changed in 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic caused oil prices to drop dramatically. Hin Leong was found to have hidden losses of more than $800 million, leaving over 20 banks with huge debts.

In September, Singapore’s High Court agreed to a deal where the Lims will pay $3.59 billion to the liquidators and HSBC Holdings Plc, which ended a legal battle against Lim. Lim stated, “I continue to deny the claims against me but do not want to prolong the court’s time and resources. I told the claimants I have no assets to pay them, so I will apply for bankruptcy.”

In November, Lim was sentenced to jail for cheating HSBC and for involvement in forgery. He filed an appeal, meaning he will not go to jail until the appeal is decided.

“BJP Defends Manmohan Singh’s Funeral Amid Congress Disrespect Claims

The Congress party accused the central government of insulting former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh by not giving him a special memorial. In response, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) brought up the funeral of another ex-Prime Minister, PV Narasimha Rao, saying that the Gandhi family has not shown proper respect to non-Gandhi leaders within the Congress party.

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi dismissed the Congress’s claims as “cheap politics.” He pointed out that, not only did they fail to honor Manmohan Singh, but they also neglected Rao and former President Pranab Mukherjee. Joshi told reporters that when Rao died, the Congress did not give him the respect he deserved and did not even award him the Bharat Ratna, one of India’s highest civilian awards.

BJP leader Gaurav Bhatia questioned why the Congress has not built a memorial for Rao, despite his important role in India’s economic transformation. He also challenged Priyanka Gandhi to show pictures of her family paying respects to Rao when he passed away.

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw also criticized the Congress, saying they ignored Manmohan Singh during his time as Prime Minister, and that Sonia Gandhi held the real power instead.

Manmohan Singh, who was 92 years old and played a key role in India’s economic growth, passed away recently. His funeral took place at the Nigambodh Ghat in Delhi. The Congress party claimed that the government poorly managed the funeral and that it was disrespectful to Singh.

  • Jharkhand Politics 2024: Drama, Elections, and Rising Leaders”

Jharkhand Politics 2024: Drama, Elections, and Rising Leaders”

The year 2024 in Jharkhand felt like an exciting movie, full of surprises and big changes. It all started when Chief Minister Hemant Soren mysteriously disappeared from Delhi, which made people wonder where he was. On January 30, after a long 1,250 km road trip, he surprised everyone by showing up at his home in Ranchi. He had been called for questioning about a money-laundering case related to a land scam.

However, his troubles didn’t end there. The next day, January 31, he resigned as chief minister and was soon arrested at Raj Bhavan. This led the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) party to pick Champai Soren as the new leader. Champai, known as ‘Jharkhand’s Tiger’, took over as chief minister in February after the JMM maintained its positions.

During all this, Hemant’s wife, Kalpana Soren, stepped into the spotlight. She showed great strength by winning a by-election in June and later the assembly elections in November. Her political journey was not just about her strategy but also about understanding and connecting with the people.

After spending almost five months in jail, Hemant got bail in June when the Jharkhand High Court deemed that he wasn’t likely to commit the crime again. His supporters continued to stand by him, and he was re-elected as the leader of his party. By July, he became chief minister again for the third time, proving his strength in state politics.

While Hemant and Kalpana rose in power, some political figures faced disappointing defeats. Sita Soren, Hemant’s sister-in-law, moved to the BJP but lost badly in elections. Similarly, veteran Congress leader Geeta Kora also faced defeats after joining the BJP. These events highlighted the challenges in Jharkhand’s political scene.

In a surprising turn, Champai Soren left JMM and joined the BJP. Around the same time, Jharkhand experienced chaos with high-profile arrests, including a minister, and accusations of corruption. There were also violent incidents involving Naxals and increasing tensions between the government and security forces.

Despite these challenges, the JMM-led alliance managed to win again in November, securing 56 seats in the assembly while the BJP got only 24. The BJP had hoped to win with promises and campaigns against Hemant’s leadership, but the people still supported him.

Amid the excitement and struggles, 2024 also saw some good news. The state government worked hard to introduce programs for the welfare of the most vulnerable communities. Jharkhand’s athletes showed their skills and brought pride to the state on national and international platforms

  • India Fights Back: Bumrah and Siraj Spark Hope in Fourth Test!”

India Fights Back: Bumrah and Siraj Spark Hope in Fourth Test!”

On Day 4 of the fourth Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Indian bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj stepped up for their team. They took two important wickets before lunch, leaving Australia at 53 for 2, with a lead of 158 runs. Marnus Labuschagne was at 20 not out, and Steve Smith had 2 runs at that moment.

Earlier in the match, India scored 369 runs in their first innings. Nitish Kumar Reddy played a key role by scoring a solid 114 runs, helping India recover from a tough position after they were 358 for 9.

    Bumrah Gets Back at Konstas
Bumrah was eager to dismiss debutant Sam Konstas, who had hurt him in the first innings with a score of 60. This time, Bumrah bowled a perfect delivery that knocked Konstas out for just 8 runs. Bumrah celebrated excitedly, flapping his arms and playfully mocking Konstas, who had tried to engage the crowd earlier.

“I felt great to get that wicket,” Bumrah said after. “Taking early wickets is really important for us.”

    Siraj’s Key Wicket
Following Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj got Usman Khawaja out for 21 runs. Siraj bowled a brilliant delivery that went through Khawaja’s bat and pads. He celebrated joyfully, making a “shhh” gesture at the crowd, who had been very loud.

“It felt good to take that wicket, especially after all the noise from the crowd,” Siraj said. “We’re ready to fight in this challenging series.”

    Reddy’s Amazing Century
India’s first innings ended at 369 runs, thanks to Nitish Kumar Reddy’s careful and emotional 114 runs. He added 11 more runs in the morning before being dismissed by Nathan Lyon. Reddy’s century, which took 171 balls and included 11 fours and a six, was significant because he was playing in front of his family in Melbourne.

“It was an emotional moment, and I’m proud of the fight we showed as a team,” Reddy said after his dismissal.

The morning session also saw a big moment when Australia appealed for a catch off Siraj’s bat that was turned down by the third umpire, leaving Australian captain Pat Cummins frustrated.

“It was a tough call, but we have to keep pushing,” Cummins said.

As Australia continues to lead by 158 runs, the match remains exciting. India needs strong bowling and batting in the next innings. With Bumrah and Siraj performing well and Reddy’s century boosting their confidence, the contest at the MCG promises to be a thrilling finish to this tough series.
