Player Red Carded for Shocking Act During AFC Champions League Match

In a surprising act of bad sportsmanship, a football player received a red card for pinching his opponent’s private area during a game. Footage of the incident quickly went viral on social media, sparking outrage among fans.

The incident took place during a big match in the AFC Champions League between two teams from Southeast Asia: Malaysia’s Johor Darul Ta’zim and Thailand’s Buriram United. The trouble started when Theerathon Bunmathan from Buriram United fell to the ground after getting fouled by Johor Darul Ta’zim’s Arif Aiman.

While Aiman tried to help Bunmathan up, things took a bizarre turn. After getting back on his feet, Bunmathan suddenly pinched Aiman’s genitals, causing Aiman to drop to the ground in pain. He rolled around on the grass, holding himself in distress.

The referee missed the incident but later used the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) to check what happened. After seeing the replay, he gave Bunmathan a red card.

People on social media reacted strongly, with some questioning whether this act was sexual harassment. Others joked, saying he was playing the wrong kind of game. Comments included harsh words about his character, saying he shouldn’t be a captain or a professional player.

Despite the drama, the actual match ended in a 0-0 draw, with both teams hoping to advance to the Round of 16 in the tournament.

Rebel Forces Advance: The Fight Against Assad in Syria

Rebel forces in Syria are on a swift mission to overthrow President Bashar al-Assad. The leader of the rebels, Abu Mohammed al-Jolani, told CNN their main goal is to end Assad’s rule. Recently, the rebels have made significant gains, taking over important cities including Aleppo and Hama. Now, they are just a few miles away from Homs, a city crucial for Assad’s control over the country.

If the rebels take Homs, it would cut off the capital, Damascus, from the coast, where Assad’s supporters are based. This advance has led to many people from Assad’s Alawite community fleeing Homs in fear of the fighting. One local resident described the scene as filled with cars escaping the city.

Homs has been at the center of violence since the civil war began in 2011, starting with peaceful protests against Assad’s government. As the fighting worsens, people are scared. Another local resident said, “We don’t know what is happening. We are extremely afraid.”

The rebels recently entered Rastan and Talbisseh, two towns near Homs, facing little resistance from government troops. The Syrian army is responding with airstrikes against rebel positions in Hama. Since the offensive began last week, more than 800 people have been reported killed, with many others displaced.

On social media, the rebels celebrated their victory in Hama, where they clashed with government forces. Some residents even burned a large poster of Assad to show their excitement. A researcher remarked that losing Hama is a huge setback for the Syrian government.

If Assad loses Homs, he may struggle to maintain control. Several reports suggest that a significant number of civilians have fled, with the UN warning that the number of displaced people could rise to 1.5 million.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres commented that the rise in violence shows a “chronic failure” of global diplomacy. Meanwhile, fighting continues in neighboring Lebanon between Israel and Hezbollah, who have previously supported Assad

In a tough first innings against Australia in the pink-ball Test in Adelaide, young cricketer Nitish Kumar Reddy amazed everyone with an unusual shot. With his teammates getting out quickly, Reddy was left to help the lower-order batsmen. Feeling the pressure, he decided to play bravely and pulled off an incredible reverse scoop against Scott Boland.

As the ball came to him, right outside off stump, Reddy skillfully lifted it over the slip fielders. The hit was perfectly timed, sending the ball flying past the boundary for a fantastic six. Reddy couldn’t hide his joy and smiled, while his batting partner, Jasprit Bumrah, laughed at the ridiculousness of the shot. Rishabh Pant, known for his fun shots, would have loved it from the dressing room too.

You can watch the shot here. India ended up getting all out for 180 runs in their first innings, with Reddy the last player out for 42. Earlier, team captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bat first at Adelaide Oval.

India’s innings started poorly, losing Yashasvi Jaiswal on the very first ball to Mitchell Starc. Although KL Rahul and Shubman Gill made a solid 69-run partnership, the team faced a big collapse after Rahul got out. After tea, India quickly lost six wickets, dropping to 82 for 4. Even Virat Kohli, who scored a century in the last Test, could only manage 7 runs this time.

Rishabh Pant scored 21, while Rohit Sharma made only 3. Other players, including Harshit Rana (0), Ravichandran Ashwin (22), and Jasprit Bumrah (0), also fell quickly. Australian bowlers had a field day on the first day of the second Test. Mitchell Starc was the star of the show for Australia, taking six wickets for just 48 runs. • Congress Takes Action Against BJP MPs Over Controversial Remarks on Rahul Gandhi

Congress Takes Action Against BJP MPs Over Controversial Remarks on Rahul Gandhi

On Friday, the Congress party decided to take action against two leaders from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Nishikant Dubey and Sambit Patra, because of hurtful comments they made about Rahul Gandhi, who is the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha.

Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi explained that they had asked the Speaker of the Lok Sabha to look into their complaints, but the session was interrupted, and Dubey was allowed to continue speaking in Parliament. Gogoi accused the BJP of being afraid to discuss the Adani issue, suggesting they were trying to avoid important topics.

Another Congress MP, KC Venugopal, criticized the government, saying they were trying to silence the opposition. He mentioned that there were inappropriate remarks made about Congress leaders both inside and outside Parliament. While Congress filed a complaint about this, the people they complained about were still allowed to speak. Venugopal claimed that the Speaker was under pressure from the government.

In a recent post on social media, Venugopal expressed that the Congress party will not be intimidated by anyone, holding a copy of the Constitution and wearing a mask with the message “Modi Adani Bhai Bhai.”

The controversy began when BJP’s Nishikant Dubey questioned Rahul Gandhi’s meetings and associations during a speech. He raised concerns about Gandhi’s relations with figures linked to the Bharat Jodo Movement and groups that did not support PM Modi. He even went as far as to accuse Gandhi of meeting with people who want to create divisions in India.

BJP MP Sambit Patra also called Rahul Gandhi a “traitor,” claiming he is part of a dangerous group that threatens India. Patra urged people to be aware of Gandhi’s connections with foreign entities that oppose the government.

  • Starc’s Five Wickets Thrill Australia as India Struggles in Day-Night Test

Starc’s Five Wickets Thrill Australia as India Struggles in Day-Night Test

In Adelaide, Australian bowler Mitchell Starc shone brightly during his first five-wicket haul, helping to dismiss India for 180 runs on the first day of the day-night Test. At tea, India was struggling at 82 for 4, and they lost the last six wickets for just 98 runs before the dinner break.

Starc, along with fellow bowlers Pat Cummins and Scott Boland, made great use of the pink ball, especially in the second session. Starc used his famous inswingers to dismiss R Ashwin and Harshit Rana, while Cummins cleverly used short balls. Rohit Sharma, batting in the middle order for the first time in six years, was trapped lbw by Boland. Rishabh Pant tried to play aggressively but fell victim to a sharp bouncer from Cummins.

Nitish Reddy, who impressed on his debut in Perth, played a fearless innings. He added crucial runs alongside Ashwin, who replaced Washington Sundar in the lineup. While wickets kept falling, Reddy took bold shots, hitting two fantastic sixes off Starc and Boland, which helped the team score more than 150 runs.

Earlier in the match, Starc struck at important moments, taking out opener K L Rahul and star player Virat Kohli in quick succession, which turned the match in Australia’s favor. This happened after a solid 69-run partnership between Rahul and Shubman Gill. Things got worse when Boland dismissed Gill quickly, leading to India losing their last three wickets for just 12 runs.

Rohit, who had a comfortable place in the dressing room moments before, had to go in to bat at a new spot in the order to allow Rahul to take the opening position. It was a dramatic start, especially since India chose to bat first on a pitch with good grass cover. Young player Yashasvi Jaiswal, who had a great first Test in Australia a few weeks ago, got out on the very first ball, missing a fuller delivery from Starc that swung back just enough to be ruled out LBW.

Gill, back in action after healing from a thumb injury, played confidently, while Rahul took 21 balls to score his first run. Four out of Gill’s five boundaries came off Starc, who sometimes bowled too full or short. Gill’s best shots were his off-drive and cover drive against Starc.

Rahul almost got out without scoring, but Boland overstepped on the first ball he bowled. Known for targeting the off-stump, Boland made Rahul edge a ball that almost took him out. Once Rahul scored, he started playing aggressively, with a beautiful cover drive being the highlight.

Things looked good for India until Starc removed Rahul and then Kohli in quick succession with short balls that surprised them. Gill was bowled out last in the session as he tried to hit Boland but was trapped lbw
