Sonia Gandhi & George Soros: Rijiju’s Warning to All Parties

On Monday, Kiren Rijiju, the Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, expressed worry about potential ties between Congress leader Sonia Gandhi and George Soros, a businessman from Hungary and the U.S. He urged all political groups, including Congress, to stand together against “anti-India forces.”

Rijiju spoke to the media just before a heated session in Parliament and said that if any leaders are found working against the interests of India, all parties should speak up. He mentioned that Soros’s connections are not just about Congress but should be a serious issue for everyone.

His comments followed accusations from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) that Sonia Gandhi is linked to a group backed by Soros’s foundation, which supports the idea of Kashmir being independent.

In response, RJD MP Manoj Jha said when the government looks at conspiracy theories, it might be trying to hide something. He challenged the government to investigate these claims.

Rijiju emphasized that any leader working with anti-India forces should be opposed by all political parties. He reminded Congress members that they will be discussing the Constitution on December 13 and 14 in Lok Sabha, and on December 16 and 17 in Rajya Sabha. He encouraged Congress leaders and workers to speak out if they find their leaders connected to anti-India activities, stressing the need for unity against such forces.

Siraj and Head Face ICC Punishment for Verbal Clash During Test

In Adelaide, Indian cricket player Mohammed Siraj and Australian batsman Travis Head are about to get a “punishment” from the ICC (International Cricket Council) because of a fight during a recent Test match. Reports say that both players were found guilty after a meeting on Monday. However, they will likely only receive a fine or a warning instead of being banned, as they both have good behavior records in the past.

The incident happened on the second day of the match, which Australia won by 10 wickets. Travis Head played really well, scoring 140 runs off 141 balls before Siraj bowled him out. After this, Siraj celebrated aggressively and said something to Head. The crowd in Adelaide booed Siraj because of this.

Head later claimed he only said “well bowled” to Siraj and felt sad about Siraj’s reaction. But Siraj disagreed, claiming Head used bad words against him. “I only celebrated, and he was the one who insulted me. Everyone saw it on TV,” Siraj explained to Star Sports.

Head also admitted he reacted in a way he didn’t like. “There wasn’t any issue before this. I think my reaction was over the top, and I regret how I responded,” he said during a press conference after the game.

India Falls Short: Bangladesh Wins U19 Asia Cup Final by 59 Runs

Everyone thought that the young Indian team, led by Mohamed Amaan, would win the U19 Asia Cup final. But the match took a surprising turn, and India lost to Bangladesh by 59 runs at the Dubai International Stadium. The Indian batsmen struggled to chase a small target of 199 runs, which allowed Bangladesh to celebrate a big win.

Surprisingly, many fans in the stadium were cheering for Bangladesh rather than India. Throughout the match, loud chants of “Allahu Akbar” filled the air as fans supported the defending champions. In the final minutes of the game, Bangladesh’s captain, Azizul Hakim Tamim, encouraged the crowd to cheer even louder. Fans joined in, which even caught the attention of commentators. Former Sri Lankan bowler Roshan Abeysinghe commented, “Is he trying to energize the crowd? Wow. Well done.” Former Indian player Atul Wassan added, “They know how to entertain the fans. This shows their growth.”

In the final match, India won the toss and decided to let Bangladesh bat first. Bangladesh was all out for 198 runs in 49.1 overs, with Md Rizan Hossan scoring the most at 47 runs. For India, bowlers Yudhajit Guha, Chetan Sharma, and Hardik Raj took two wickets each. At one point, many thought India could easily reach the target.

But sadly, none of the Indian batters played well when it mattered most. Young player Vaibhav Suryavanshi, only 13 years old, only managed 9 runs. India quickly fell to 92/7 in the 27th over. Hopes were still alive while captain Mohamed Amaan was batting on 26, but after he got out in the 32nd over, it was clear India would not win.

In the end, India got bowled out for just 139 runs in under 36 overs, giving Bangladesh a well-earned victory by 59 runs. This win marks Bangladesh’s second straight Asia Cup title!

Jacob Bethell’s Stunning Debut Helps England Beat New Zealand

Jacob Bethell was seen as a risk when he made his England debut at number three against New Zealand in Christchurch last month. But captain Ben Stokes felt proud after Bethell helped secure a series win on Sunday. The 21-year-old, who usually batted at number four in first-class matches, scored 50 runs in Christchurch and followed it up with an impressive 96 in Wellington, helping England win by 323 runs.

Stokes spoke about Bethell’s batting position during the post-match press conference, saying, “I know people were concerned about him batting at three because he’s young and doesn’t have much experience. But Coach Brendon McCullum and I felt that since he has so much talent, we should let him play under tough conditions. Batting higher gave him confidence, allowing him to perform well in the second match.”

Bethell got his chance to play because wicketkeeper Jamie Smith was unavailable, and his replacement Jordan Cox was injured. As a result, Ollie Pope moved down from number three to keep wicket. Despite this change, it worked out well for Pope, who scored 77 runs in the first test and 66 in the second, helping build strong partnerships with Harry Brook.

The only sad part for Stokes was that Bethell didn’t get his first century at Basin Reserve. Stokes said, “I felt really sorry for him missing out on three figures. I told him, ‘It’s only four runs, right?’ And he replied, ‘Yeah, but it would have been awesome if I hit that shot through the covers to get it.’ Class act!” Stokes believes Bethell has proven himself and shown why everyone rates him so highly.

In a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), Shekhawat said, “The role of ‘Shekhawat’ in ‘Pushpa 2’ insults our community. Karni Sainiks, be prepared. The producers will be dealt with soon.”

Fahadh Faasil plays the bad guy, Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, in the movie. Shekhawat thinks using the name ‘Shekhawat’ repeatedly is a big insult. He urged the filmmakers to take the word out of the movie. He explained in a video, “The movie has insulted Kshatriya people badly. They keep insulting us in the name of freedom of speech.”

Meanwhile, “Pushpa 2,” starring Allu Arjun, is doing well at the box office, bringing in over ₹294 crore globally on its first day. The film has been a hit, filling cinemas since its release. It even broke records, becoming one of the biggest openings ever in India.

Abhishek Bachchan Talks Baby Plans Amid Aishwarya Rai Divorce Rumors

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai have recently made the news because of rumors about their divorce. But fans were relieved when some new photos of them together from an event appeared online. During an episode of Riteish Deshmukh’s chat show, “Case Toh Banta Hai,” Abhishek was asked about having a second baby after their daughter Aaradhya.

Riteish jokingly pointed out that all their names start with the letter “A,” asking Abhishek what Jaya and Shweta (his mother and sister) had done. Abhishek chuckled and said it seems to be a tradition in their family.

When Riteish asked about having another child after Aaradhya, Abhishek replied, “Let’s see when the next generation comes.” Riteish joked that they shouldn’t wait too long, and Abhishek playfully reminded him that he is older.

Abhishek and Aishwarya welcomed their daughter Aaradhya in 2011. Recently, rumors about their separation started when they attended Anant Ambani’s wedding separately. Although Abhishek didn’t appear in Aishwarya’s birthday post for Aaradhya, it was revealed he was there for the celebration. The couple was recently spotted together at a wedding, which eased fans’ worries.

As for Abhishek’s upcoming projects, he was last seen in the film “I Want To Talk,” which did not do well at the box office despite good reviews. • Aussies Level Series with Big Win Against India in Adelaide!

Aussies Level Series with Big Win Against India in Adelaide!

Pat Cummins and the Australian cricket team faced a lot of criticism after losing to India by 295 runs in Perth. There were rumors about problems in the team, especially concerning senior players like Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith. However, they managed to shake off the pressure and made a fantastic comeback in the pink-ball Test in Adelaide, tying the five-match series.

Now, Australian media is stirring things up for India after this defeat. The Advertiser called Australia’s win “sweet revenge” and mentioned the intense moment between Travis Head and Mohammed Siraj on Day 2. They even shared a picture of Travis Head catching Siraj’s wicket, saying it was payback for a previous argument where Siraj called Head a liar.

The article also praised Mitchell Starc, who took six wickets in the first innings. They referred to an earlier moment in Perth when Yashasvi Jaiswal told Starc he was “bowling slow.” Starc made a big statement by dismissing Jaiswal on the first ball of the Adelaide Test, leading the article to say, “A Starc Reminder.”

However, not everything is going well for Indian captain Rohit Sharma. After scoring just 3 and 6 runs in this match, many are questioning his performance and leadership. One headline read, “Heat on Sharma as series hots up.”

During the Adelaide Test, India’s batting was weak, with scores of 180 and 175. While Jasprit Bumrah tried to lead the bowling attack, he didn’t get enough help from Mohammed Siraj and Harshit Rana, allowing Australia to gain a big lead of over 150 runs. Travis Head particularly targeted Harshit Rana, which helped Australia secure their victory.

India and Australia will now meet again for the third Test at Gabba, Brisbane, starting December 14.

Three Killed in Murshidabad House Explosion: Investigation Underway

At least three people have died in a big explosion at a house in Murshidabad, West Bengal, according to news reports. The blast happened when homemade bombs exploded in the Khayartala neighborhood on Sunday night. The bombs were being made in the home of a man named Mamun Mollah.

Mollah’s neighbors heard a loud bang but didn’t know what had happened. Sadly, the three people who died include Mollah, Sakirul Sarkar, and Mustaqin Sheikh. The explosion was so powerful that it made the roof of the house collapse.

Police and officials are currently investigating what caused the explosion.

In another similar incident, four people died and five were injured in Madhya Pradesh after a blast caused three houses to crumble in a neighborhood called Rathore Colony. A local man, named Vasudev Rathore, whose house was destroyed, thinks the explosion was caused by gunpowder, since the gas cylinders remained unharmed.

Just last week, another tragedy occurred in Gujarat’s Ankleshwar, where four workers died in a boiler explosion at a waste treatment plant. The police are looking into what caused that explosion as well.

  • Bihar Teacher Transfer Update: Over 33,000 Applications in 8 Days!

Bihar Teacher Transfer Update: Over 33,000 Applications in 8 Days!

Just days after the Bihar government opened a new chance for teachers to request transfers due to pressing issues, more than 33,000 applications have come in. And this number might continue to grow! Earlier, over 2.6 lakh requests were received before the last transfer policy was put on hold.

The education department had asked teachers to fill out fresh applications from December 1 to December 15. Many teachers were unhappy with the previous rules that stopped all transfers, so this new option is a relief. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced earlier that teachers who were hired since 2006 through local bodies would stay in their current jobs, even after becoming government employees through competency tests.

According to Additional Chief Secretary S. Siddharth, there are 545,182 teachers, and as of December 8, 33,227 applications for transfers had been received. Last time, there were more than 2.6 lakh applications submitted.

When it comes to priority for transfers, teachers with serious health issues are at the top of the list. There are 163 applications from teachers with incurable diseases like cancer, 456 from those with critical illnesses, 1,522 from specially-abled teachers, and 290 from teachers with autism or mental disabilities. There are also 216 applications from widowed or divorced teachers, and 2,919 petitions from teachers whose spouses are working in different places.

The most significant number—27,661 teachers—are asking for transfers because their work locations are too far from where they want to be. Siddharth assured that all requests would be reviewed based on these priorities.

The transfer process will start after the application period ends, and the goal is to assist the teachers who need transfers the most. Siddharth believes they won’t see a big change in the number of applications in the next few days, and that the process can be efficiently managed with the right software. This new transfer and posting policy for school teachers in Bihar was finally revealed in October after being delayed for many years

  • South Korea: Political Turmoil as President Yoon Faces New Challenges

South Korea: Political Turmoil as President Yoon Faces New Challenges

South Korea is facing a big political crisis. President Yoon Suk Yeol just escaped being removed from his position after an impeachment vote last Saturday. Now, prosecutors are looking into him because he briefly declared martial law last week. The former defense minister, Kim Yong-hyun, has also been arrested for this situation.

Park Se-hyun, who is in charge of the Seoul High Prosecutors’ Office, started the investigation after getting several complaints. The president’s office hasn’t said anything about this yet. This is a big change for Yoon, who used to be a prosecutor and helped put former President Park Geun-hye in jail for a big scandal.

On Sunday, the effects of the martial law declaration continued, leading to the resignation of Interior Minister Lee Sang-min. Han Dong-hoon, from the ruling People Power Party, tried to calm people down by saying Prime Minister Han Duck-soo would handle the country’s problems while they plan for Yoon’s exit. He stated, “The president will not be involved in any state affairs, including diplomacy, before he leaves.”

The martial law declaration surprised many, including South Korea’s allies. Han emphasized the importance of keeping strong ties with the US and Japan for national security and maintaining the US-Korea alliance. He also said passing the government budget plan is crucial for the country to function normally.

The opposition was not happy about the president and prime minister sharing powers. Parliament Speaker Woo Won-shik called it “unconstitutional” and asked for a meeting to suspend the president’s duties. He mentioned it is unclear who is in charge of South Korea right now.

The opposition party, which has most seats in the parliament, strongly criticized the president. They labeled Prime Minister Han’s actions as “unconstitutional and anarchic,” and they plan to push for another impeachment vote quickly.

Finance Minister Choi Sang-mok said the government will take fast action to control the situation. President Yoon ended the martial law just hours after it was announced because parliament rejected it. He survived the impeachment vote because lawmakers from his party did not attend.
