Bengaluru is waking up to cool weather today with temperatures at 16.04°C. People in the city should prepare for even colder days ahead! A cold wave from the North is making its way to Bengaluru, and temperatures might drop to around 10 to 12°C soon.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) says that from Tuesday to Friday, the highest temperatures will be between 27°C and 29°C, while the lowest will be around 15°C to 18°C.
The drop in temperatures has also affected the air quality, which is currently at an AQI of 158—a level that is moderate. Because of this, people, especially children and those with breathing problems, are advised to stay indoors to keep safe from the air pollution.
This winter is turning out to be one of the coldest in recent years, and as the chill increases, Bengaluru residents can expect cooler and fresher air.
Meanwhile, Delhi also faced a big drop in temperature on Thursday, reaching 6.4°C early in the morning due to cold wave conditions.
