Lisa Kudrow found a hidden note from her late friend and co-star, Matthew Perry, almost a year after he passed away. She shared this news on “The Drew Barrymore Show” when she talked about a cookie jar that Matthew gave her as a gift.
Lisa explained that Matthew gave her the cookie jar at the end of their last episode of “Friends.” The jar has the words “Cookie Time” on it. While she was feeling a mix of emotions, Lisa revealed, “I recently found a note he had hiding in it. I had never opened it before.”
Lisa, who played the funny Phoebe Buffay on “Friends,” said, “I forgot the note was in there.” She added, “Timing is everything,” but she didn’t share what the note said.
Lisa first mentioned the cookie jar in a 2020 talk with Jimmy Kimmel. She recalled a funny moment while filming, where she pretended to look at the cookie jar as if it were a clock. Matthew joked about it, and they laughed together.
Matthew gave her the cookie jar when “Friends” ended in 2004. Lisa joked that she was surprised he took it without asking first because their belongings would often get checked at the end of the day.
