The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) announced that it will run alone in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. Party leader Mayawati stated that BSP represents the poor and the oppressed and does not engage in using money or muscle power. In a message shared on social media, she expressed confidence that the Election Commission will make sure the elections are fair and free from misuse of government resources and unfair propaganda.

Mayawati emphasized that elections are crucial for democracy. She believes that the BSP will do well in the elections by relying on its strength alone. She encouraged voters to think wisely and not get distracted by other parties’ tempting promises. Voters should choose BSP candidates who care about the public’s needs.

The Delhi Assembly elections are set for February 5, with vote counting happening on February 8. The deadline to file nominations is January 17, and the nominations will be checked on January 18.
