Two bodies were found inside the landing gear of a JetBlue plane after it landed at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport in Florida. This happened on Monday night during a routine check after the flight arrived from New York’s JFK Airport.

The police are investigating how these individuals got into the aircraft. The identity of the deceased has not been revealed yet. The Broward Sheriff’s Office sent deputies and medical examiners to the airport to look into the situation.

JetBlue said in a statement, “On January 6, two individuals were found in the landing gear compartment of one of our planes during a regular maintenance check. Sadly, both were already deceased. We are working closely with officials to find out how this happened.”

They added that the situation is “heartbreaking” and they are doing their best to help with the investigation.

An airport official mentioned that this incident does not affect other flights at the airport.

People online reacted strongly to the news. Some demanded better airport security, while others expressed their shock and concern about safety at airports. One person said, “It’s time to tighten up airport protocols,” highlighting the seriousness of the issue.
