Intense Fog in Delhi-NCR: Gurgaon Almost Disappears!

Delhites share stunning fog pictures that hide Gurgaon buildings, showcasing a cold wave that’s captivating social media with humor and awe.

Delhi and its nearby areas are feeling very cold, with a thick fog covering the city. Many people are sharing pictures and videos of buildings almost disappearing in the fog on social media.

Journalist Manu Joseph shared a photo from his balcony in Gurgaon that shows how dense the fog is. He humorously noted, “Gurgaon this month. The best thing about the winter in Gurgaon is you don’t see half of Gurgaon.” In the picture, only one tall building is visible above the thick fog.

People online reacted with surprise and humor. One person said, “Looks like a cruise ship,” while another joked, “Old: The tip of the iceberg. New: The tip of Gurgaon.” Someone else pointed out, “Looks like you can’t see 90% of your city.” A user also compared the scene to a place in the Netflix show “Altered Carbon.”

Many were curious about the flat’s location, asking if living higher up helps avoid pollution. Comments like, “Friend said pollution decreases above the 10th floor,” sparked conversations about which flats offer the best views.

Some users doubted the photo’s authenticity, suggesting it might be edited. One person emphasized, “Air purifiers only remove tiny particles; they can’t filter out harmful gases. You can’t just live on the 50th floor with an air purifier and think pollution is fixed.”
