In a shocking incident in Mangolpuri, North Delhi, a gang of eight masked robbers stormed into a jewelry store with knives. They stole gold jewelry valued at ₹12 lakh while threatening the shop staff and customers.
However, their escape plan quickly fell apart! Local shopkeepers bravely fought back by throwing red chili powder at the robbers, causing them to flee. When police arrived, they found the jewelry store messy, with goods scattered all over the street. Chili powder was also found near some nearby shops.
Authorities are now investigating the scene and collecting CCTV footage to catch the robbers, who broke into the shop and caused panic.
In a different case, after 14 years, the Delhi Police arrested a man named Mukesh alias Dhandu. He was wanted for robbing a tempo driver back in 2009. Even though his friend was caught, Mukesh managed to escape. He was finally caught in Bahadurgarh, Haryana, and he admitted to the crime.
The police continue to work hard to keep the streets safe!
