Former President Donald Trump announced key appointments on Truth Social. Morgan Ortagus will be the Deputy Special Presidential Envoy for Middle East Peace, Roman Pipko will be the U.S. Ambassador to Estonia, and Tammy Bruce will become the spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State.

Trump described Tammy Bruce as a respected political analyst who supported the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement from the beginning. He highlighted her journey from being a liberal activist to one of the strongest conservative voices in media. Bruce received her degree in Political Science from the University of Southern California and has contributed to Fox News since 2005.

Before joining Fox News, Bruce hosted her own show called “The Tammy Bruce Show,” which began in 1993. She also writes a weekly column for the Association for Mature Americans (AMAC) and has published several books.

Tammy Bruce has been an important part of Fox News for nearly 20 years. Trump expressed confidence that she will bring her strength and bold spirit to her new role at the State Department.

Bruce started her career as a Democrat but later became independent. She has worked on many Democratic campaigns and supported Republican leaders, including Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush. In the 1990s, she focused on women’s rights and was the president of the Los Angeles chapter of the National Organization for Women. Over time, she turned away from liberal politics and became a strong supporter of free speech and Second Amendment rights.

Her latest book, “Fear Itself: Exposing the Left’s Mind-Killing Agenda,” will be published on July 23, 2024. Tammy Bruce has also written bestselling books like “The Death of Right and Wrong.”
