New Delhi: On Tuesday, many stocks in Mumbai saw big jumps, rising by up to 15%! While the major stock market indexes, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, were mostly steady, some smaller companies stood out. These stocks soared: Choksi Labs (up 19.99%), Informed Tech (up 19.97%), Ladam Affordable (up 19.97%), ABM Knowledge (up 18.41%), G G Engineering (up 17.33%), and KIOCL (up 16.18%).
However, the BSE Sensex ended down by 109.12 points, closing at 78,139.01, and the NSE Nifty dropped slightly by 0.11 points to finish at 23,644.8. In the Nifty50 index, 26 stocks went up, while 24 stocks went down.
Interestingly, a few stocks such as ABM Knowledge, Crisil, Sharat Industries, Maestros Electronics, and Bampsl Securities reached their highest prices in the last year. On the flip side, Darshan Orna, Barak Valley, Odigma Consultancy, Palred Technologies, and Universus Photo hit their lowest prices in the same period.
