The fourth day of the Test match between Pakistan and South Africa is really exciting! South Africa needs just 32 more runs to win, but they only have two wickets left at lunch. Mohammad Abbas is leading Pakistan towards an amazing victory, having taken four wickets in his long spell of 13 overs. South Africa is struggling to reach a target of 148 runs and is currently at 116-8.

Abbas has impressive figures of 6 wickets for 43 runs off 17 overs. He caused a big collapse for South Africa, especially after they seemed close to winning. They were only 50 runs away with 6 wickets in hand when Abbas turned the game around. He dismissed captain Temba Bavuma, who scored 40 runs but walked off thinking he had edged the ball. It turns out it didn’t hit his bat but his pocket instead!

Abbas also bowled Aiden Markram out and had David Bedingham and Corbin Bosch caught by the wicketkeeper, Mohammad Rizwan. Bosch was out on his very first ball. Because of this sudden downfall, South Africa fell from a score of 96-4 to 99-8.

If Pakistan wins this match, it will be their first Test victory in South Africa in 18 years! Meanwhile, South Africa wants to win to secure their spot in the World Test Championship final in June. After a rough start with the score at 27-3, South Africa had looked like they might win, especially when Bavuma and Markram were batting well, but Abbas changed everything.
