Delhi Police Arrest Two in Major Arms Trafficking Case”

Delhi Police arrested two gunrunners in an arms trafficking case. Sunny Sharma and Devinder Chhabra were caught with 10 firearms near Singhu Border.

The Delhi Police Special Cell has caught two men who were selling illegal guns. The two men are Sunny Sharma, 30 years old, and Devinder Chhabra, 28 years old, and they both live in Haryana. They were giving guns to a gang that commits crimes in Delhi and nearby areas.

On December 17, 2024, police arrested them near the Singhu Border in Delhi. Officers found a total of 10 guns, which included three semi-automatic pistols and seven single-shot pistols.

Pranav Tayal, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in the Special Cell, said Sunny Sharma has been convicted for murder and was out on bail. Similarly, Devinder Chhabra has also been convicted for murder and was out on bail. The police have filed a case against them under the Arms Act and are continuing to investigate the situation.
