A serious accident happened in Mumbai’s Kandivali where a car driven by Marathi actress Urmila Kanetkar hit two workers. One worker sadly died right away, and the other was badly hurt. The actress and her driver also had some injuries.
Reports say that Urmila was coming home from work when her driver lost control of the car near Poisar Metro station. The car was going fast and crashed into two metro workers. Thanks to the car’s airbags, Urmila and her driver were saved from serious harm.
The police have started an investigation and filed a case against the driver at Samata Nagar Police Station. Sadly, one worker died, and many people are feeling sad for his family. Urmila Kanetkar is a famous Marathi actress known for her roles in movies like ‘Duniyadaari’ and ‘Shubhmangal Saavdhan.’ She recently returned to TV after a long break with the show ‘Tujech Mi Geet Gaat Ahe.’
Her husband, actor Addinath Kothare, who is the son of famous filmmaker Mahesh Kothare, has not spoken publicly about the accident yet. Fans are wishing for Urmila’s quick recovery while many are expressing regret over the loss of the metro worker.
