A terrible car accident happened in Tandianwala, Punjab, Pakistan, where at least six people, including women and young children, lost their lives. The accident was caused by thick fog, making driving very dangerous. A car coming from Lahore crashed into a tractor full of sugarcane in a quiet area.

Sadly, the victims were all part of the same family, with children aged between just 3 and 6 years. Three other family members were hurt in the crash and were taken to a nearby hospital for care.

The police reported that this family was traveling to Tandianwala after leaving the motorway. They have taken the tractor-trailer involved in the accident but the driver ran away from the scene.

Authorities are now investigating the accident, and they have filed a case against the missing driver. Earlier today, Pakistan’s Motorway Police had to close parts of the M-2, M-3, and M-4 highways because of the heavy fog that covered the area during the early morning hours.
