Mika Singh, a popular singer known for hit songs in Salman Khan’s movies like “Jumme Ki Raat,” “440 Volt,” and “Aaj Ki Party,” shared some interesting stories about his friendship with Salman in an interview with The Lallantop. He talked about how he once had to change the lyrics of a song because of Salman.
Mika remembered the first time he met Salman. The superstar came to watch Mika’s shoot, and they chatted. Mika felt nervous and didn’t ask for Salman’s phone number because he was worried that he would mess it up. Even though Mika had already sung “Jumme Ki Raat,” he didn’t think he did a great job. To his surprise, Salman loved it!
Mika added, “Salman likes to talk on the phone at 2 am, and he gets really upset if you don’t pick up.”
When asked if he ever changed his song lyrics just for Salman, Mika confirmed that he did. He had a song in the movie “Loot” that originally mentioned Katrina Kaif, but Salman asked him to change it. Mika changed the name “Katrina” to “Jacquelina” to keep things smooth between them.
Mika also stood by Salman when he received threats from a gang. During one of his shows, Mika dedicated a song to Salman, saying, “This line is for Salman Khan…I am your brother, don’t worry.” He even added some powerful words saying he would protect Salman from anyone who tried to harm him.
