A UX designer from Gurugram has shared his personal story after a tragic event involving a techie in Bengaluru. Alok Mittal claims his wife, Mansi, has been harassing him with false accusations about dowry and domestic violence. They started living apart just six months after their marriage.
The Timeline of Events
Alok married Mansi Aggarwal in May 2023. Soon after, he lost his job but found out they were expecting a baby. Alok says Mansi pressured him to find a job quickly. After five months of searching, he got a job in Bengaluru in November 2023, but Mansi refused to move with him because she was pregnant. Instead, she returned to her parents’ home.
When Alok went to Delhi to bring her back in December, Mansi and her family became aggressive. They even wanted him to quit his new job, and Alok claims he faced threats from them. He suggests that Mansi has filed false cases against him in different cities.
In his posts, Alok mentions that Mansi works and earns ₹80,000 a month but still asks for ₹1.5 lakh every month as maintenance and ₹1 crore in compensation. They now have a 10-month-old son, but Alok says he can’t see him because Mansi won’t let him. She uses the child as a way to manipulate him, says Alok.
If he doesn’t contact her, her family accuses him of abandoning them. Alok believes Mansi hasn’t filed for divorce yet because she knows it might not end well for her. He expresses that she will lose out if she does. Alok feels trapped, wishing to move on with his life.
