Television stars Aly Goni and Jasmin Bhasin recently shared in their vlog that they are moving in together. In an interview on the podcast “InControversial,” Aly spoke about a troubling issue they faced while looking for a home.
Aly revealed that they faced religious discrimination while house hunting. He said, “I’ve never faced problems in my career for being Kashmiri. But during our search for a house, we were often turned away. Some landlords said, ‘We don’t rent to Muslims.’” He added that many of the people who refused them were older and asked, “What will they do with that building in a few years when they are no longer around?”
Before dating, Aly and Jasmin were best friends, and their love story blossomed during the reality show “Bigg Boss 14.” Aly entered the show to support Jasmin when she was having a hard time. Their chemistry charmed both the other contestants and host Salman Khan. The couple expressed their feelings for each other on the show and have been happily together since.
Recently, Aly’s friend, actress Krishna Mukherjee, hinted at their wedding plans, saying, “They are getting married either this year or next year.”
Aly is now featured in “Laughter Chefs Season 2,” a comedy show. Jasmin recently appeared in the Punjabi film “Ardaas Sarbat De Bhale Di” and is set to star in “Carry On Jattiye.”
