Himanshi Narwal Honors Hero Husband After India’s Operation Sindoor

Himanshi Narwal is the wife of Vinay Narwal, a Navy officer who was tragically killed in a terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22. She praised India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’, which was launched to respond to the attack and honor the lives lost, including 26 individuals, most of whom were Hindu men.

This operation took place early on a Wednesday morning, when Indian security forces targeted nine terror posts in Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir (PoK) as a strong reply to the attack. Himanshi was among many women who lost their husbands during this tragedy. A photo of her with her deceased husband spread widely on social media, becoming a symbol of the heartache caused by the attack.

In expressing her gratitude towards the government, she asked for an end to terrorism in the country, saying, “I thank the government and hope this marks the beginning of the end of terrorism. No one else should suffer like I am right now.”

Himanshi remembered her husband, Vinay, and shared that he joined the armed forces to protect the peace and ensure innocent lives were safe from hatred and violence.

Vinay Narwal’s father, Rajesh Narwal, also spoke about ‘Operation Sindoor’. He felt the response was necessary, saying that it would make terrorists think twice before trying to attack again. He added, “Such actions must be taken to prevent cowardly acts like this from happening again.”

During ‘Operation Sindoor’, India targeted locations linked to the terrorist groups Jaish-e-Mohammad and Lashkar-e-Taiba, successfully destroying key operations. In total, nine terror posts were aimed at during this mission.
