A family dispute between famous actor Mohan Babu and his son Manchu Manoj got serious on the evening of December 10. Manoj tried to enter his father’s house to see his daughter, but things quickly turned violent. Videos from that evening show a physical fight that eventually sent people to the hospital.
The problem started when Mohan Babu filed a police complaint against Manoj. He accused him and his wife, Mounika, of trying to take over his house. Mohan also claimed that his son was struggling with alcohol addiction. In response, Manoj asked for police protection after he said he was attacked and needed medical help.
On Tuesday evening, Manoj forced his way into his father’s house, claiming his child was inside. He was denied entry, and security pushed him away, which led to a bigger argument. At around 7:50 PM, Mohan allegedly got aggressive and reportedly attacked a journalist who was covering the story. The journalist got hurt badly and later went to the hospital.
Many reporters gathered to witness this family drama. They filed a complaint against Mohan for the attack. The journalist suffered a severe head injury and received treatment at a local hospital.
After the altercation, Mohan Babu was also admitted to the hospital for various health issues like body pain and anxiety. A health report stated he had a bruise below his left eye and high blood pressure. He is currently being observed by doctors.
In the meantime, Manoj publicly apologized to the media for his father’s actions. He expressed sadness over the events and clarified that his family never asked for money or property. Manoj said he just returned to help his family during tough times. He urged his family to communicate and settle their issues peacefully.
