Sonam Kapoor Talks About Saving for Son Vayu’s Education!

Sonam Kapoor, the famous actress, talked about her wish to save money for her son Vayu’s education. In an interview with Vogue, she revealed feeling a bit jealous when her husband, Anand Ahuja, took her to his college in the United States.

Sonam said, “My husband studied at Wharton, part of the University of Pennsylvania. Visiting his campus made me feel envy. That’s why I’m saving up for Vayu’s education because I want him to love reading.” She shared that becoming a mom filled her life with wonder after feeling a bit tired before Vayu was born.

Sonam also reflected on how she used to have a lot of strong opinions. She realized that as she got older, it was better to listen more and judge less. In her youth, she thought being vocal was the way to go, but now she sees that it wasn’t very nice or mature.

This isn’t the first time Sonam has shown interest in education. Back in 2017, she told Hindustan Times that she wanted to take a new course, although she wasn’t sure what. She has already studied theatre and arts at the United World College of South East Asia in Singapore and started some courses with the University of Mumbai through correspondence.

Sonam married Anand on May 8, 2018, in a beautiful traditional ceremony. They announced they were expecting Vayu in March 2022, and he was born in August 2022.

Recently, Sonam was seen in a film called Blind, where she played a leading role. The movie came out on July 7, 2023, and it marked her return to acting after taking time off for motherhood. News reports say Sonam has signed two new projects, but details will be shared soon.
