On Friday morning, newlyweds Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya visited the Srisailam temple in Andhra Pradesh. They were accompanied by Chaitanya’s father, Nagarjuna. Videos from their visit are trending online, especially one sweet moment that caught everyone’s attention.
In the video, the three of them bow their heads in front of a priest. He presents them with a tray containing turmeric, sandalwood paste, and flowers for blessings. Nagarjuna goes first, receiving a “bottu” on his forehead from the priest. Next, Sobhita uses her finger to put the sandalwood paste on her forehead. As her hair falls forward, Nagarjuna kindly holds it back for her, and Sobhita smiles softly. This caring gesture warmed the hearts of many fans, with some saying he acts like a father figure to her.
Nagarjuna’s touch was seen as a kind and respectful act towards his daughter-in-law, although some people thought it wasn’t necessary.
The couple looked beautiful for their temple visit, both wearing traditional clothes. Chaitanya wore a white pancha, while Sobhita chose a lovely yellow saree. They officially got married in a traditional Telugu ceremony at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad on Wednesday, surrounded by close family and friends.
Sobhita wore a stunning gold Kanjivaram silk saree with real gold designs, along with gorgeous temple jewelry. Chaitanya also looked handsome in his traditional attire.
This is Chaitanya’s second marriage, as he was previously married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. They announced their separation in October 2021. In August this year, Chaitanya shared photos of his engagement to Sobhita, confirming their relationship.
