Actor Kartik Aaryan recently spoke at the Waves 2025 summit in Mumbai. A video shared by Pinkvilla shows Kartik welcoming the important guests, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In the video, he admitted that he felt nervous and his heart was racing because PM Modi was right in front of him.
Kartik began his speech in Hindi, saying, “I want to welcome everyone here today, especially Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and Ajit Pawar. I’m grateful to all the guests for being here at WAVES 2025.”
He continued, “Mr. Modi, my heart is beating fast because this is the first time I’m speaking to you. I will do my best to keep everything respectful, but if I make any mistakes, please forgive me.”
The WAVES 2025 event will happen from May 1 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra, Mumbai. It will bring together many Bollywood stars, industry experts, and government officials. The event, organized by the central and state governments, will be opened by Prime Minister Modi.
On the first day, there will be a special panel discussion called “Legends and Legacies: The Stories That Shaped India’s Soul.” Famous actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, and Rajinikanth will be part of this discussion, which will be hosted by Akshay Kumar.
