The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the exam city information slips for the Stenographer Grade C and Grade D skill tests. Candidates can download these slips from the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in. According to the official notice, the admit cards will be available for download two days before the exam.
The SSC mentioned, “You can download the ‘Admission Certificate’ and ‘Scribe’s Entry Pass (for those using their own scribe)’ from our website starting two days before the exam.” Candidates using their own scribe must register and submit their scribe’s details on the SSC website by April 1, 11:59 PM.
It’s important for candidates to keep an extra copy of their Admission Certificate, as the commission will keep one. If you have questions about the Admission Certificate, you can check the notice from June 24, 2024.
The skill tests for the Stenographer Grade C and D will happen on April 16 and 17, 2025. Candidates who passed the Computer-Based Examination must take the skill test for Stenography. In the test, candidates will get a dictation for 10 minutes in either English or Hindi, depending on what they chose when they signed up. The speaking speed will be 100 words per minute (wpm) for Grade C and 80 wpm for Grade D.
Remember, candidates who choose to take the test in Hindi will need to learn English stenography afterward, or they might not pass their probation period in their jobs.
