Who Can Apply?
To apply, you must have a degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university in India. Degrees from distance education programs won’t count. Additionally, you should be a member of the Institute of Engineering or have passed certain exams recognized by them. You also need to be at least 21 years old.
How Will Candidates Be Chosen?
Candidates will be selected based on their scores from a written test. This test will have six papers, four of which are required (General English, General Hindi, General Studies, and General Engineering Science) and two optional papers depending on your field (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical). General English and General Hindi are qualifying papers, requiring at least 30 marks on each.
Application Fees:
– General Candidates: Rs. 750
– SC/ST candidates from Bihar: Rs. 200
– All Female candidates who are residents of Bihar: Rs. 200
– Divyang Candidates (40% or more disability): Rs. 200
– All other candidates: Rs. 750
