NEW DELHI: A lot of shares were traded today on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). Here are the top companies with the most shares exchanged: Mirch Technologies led with 4.65 crore shares, followed by Enbee Trade Fin with 1.74 crore shares. Vodafone Idea had 1.51 crore shares traded, and other companies like Avance Tech (0.75 crore), Sharanam Infra (0.72 crore), Tata Technologies (0.62 crore), and Standard Cap (0.58 crore) also saw a lot of activity. SpiceJet, Suzlon Energy, and Pradhin Ltd. had 0.49 crore, 0.47 crore, and 0.44 crore shares traded, respectively.
At 10:55 AM on Tuesday, the Nifty index was slightly up by 1.1 points, reaching 24,329.6, while the BSE Sensex increased by 41.92 points to 80,260.29.
Some of the top companies that gained value included Bharat Electronics Ltd. (up 3.63%), Eternal Ltd. (up 2.60%), and Reliance Industries Ltd. (up 1.83%). Other gainers were Tech Mahindra Ltd. (up 1.35%) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (up 1.01%).
However, some companies lost value, including Eicher Motors Ltd. (down 1.96%), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (down 1.71%), and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 1.62%). Also, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (down 1.51%) and Nestle India Ltd. (down 1.35%) were among the biggest losers in the index.
