NEW DELHI: On Monday, while the BSE Sensex jumped up by 771.37 points, reaching 79,983.9, some stocks in Mumbai’s trading market fell sharply. Stocks like Shivansh Finserve dropped by 15.41%, Superior Finlease decreased by 11.87%, Associated Alcohols & Breweries went down by 11.46%, Tejas Networks lost 10.58%, and SML Isuzu fell by 9.99%.
In the Nifty index, 39 stocks were doing well, while 11 stocks were struggling. The Nifty index went up by 220.81 points, reaching 24,260.15.
On the BSE, several companies hit their lowest prices in a year, including Ramkrishna Forg, Sterling Guar, Gensol Engg, IGC Industries, and Shri Niwas Leasing. Meanwhile, companies like Kachchh Mineral, Country Condos, Everest Org, Paradeep Phosphates, and Reliance Naval & Engg reached their highest prices in a year.
