BJP Responds to Pahalgam Attack: Strong Action Promised for Victims

BJP MLA Satish Upadhyay spoke out on Sunday about the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, which tragically killed 26 people, mostly tourists. He promised that the central government would take strong action to ensure justice for the victims. Upadhyay said, “The people of our country trust Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We will respond to every bullet that harmed the victims.”

Prime Minister Modi also condemned the attack. He expressed deep sorrow for the families affected and assured them that those responsible for the attack would face serious consequences. He mentioned that the attack, which occurred on April 22, showed the desperation of those who support terrorism and revealed their cowardice.

During his monthly radio address, Mann Ki Baat, Modi described the attack as an effort by terrorists to disturb the peace in Kashmir. He said, “Every Indian feels angry watching the images of this attack.” The Prime Minister emphasized that as peace was returning to Kashmir, enemies of the nation were trying to disrupt it.

Modi pointed out that the increase in tourists and prosperity in the region is upsetting for those against peace. He urged everyone to come together and remain strong in the fight against terrorism.

The attack in Pahalgam has deeply affected the country, leading to sorrow for the victims and heightened security measures. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) teams are working hard at the attack site, collecting evidence. In response to this incident, the Indian government has taken actions against Pakistan, including suspending the Indus Water Treaty and closing the Attari checkpost.
