On Wednesday, the Bombay High Court changed a Family Court’s decision. The court said that cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife Dhanashree Verma can skip the waiting period for their divorce. This is important because the IPL (Indian Premier League) starts on March 22, and Chahal needs the divorce settled quickly.

Rumors about their breakup started earlier this year when Chahal removed all their photos together from his Instagram account, making fans think they had split up. However, Dhanashree still has photos of them on her profile, which confuses fans about their relationship status.

Back in February, both Chahal and Dhanashree had started divorce proceedings, and the case was still in court. Chahal, a cricketer, and Dhanashree, a popular YouTuber and dance teacher, got engaged on August 8, 2020. They married in a small ceremony on December 22, 2020, in Gurgaon. The couple was very loved on social media; they often shared moments from their lives. Dhanashree once shared on a dancing show how they met during the lockdown when no cricket was happening. Chahal wanted to learn to dance and contacted her because he saw her dance videos online, and she excitedly agreed to teach him.
