Houses of Terrorists Demolished in Jammu and Kashmir After Pahalgam Attack”

Officials reported on Sunday that three houses belonging to active terrorists were destroyed in different areas of Jammu and Kashmir. This action is part of a larger effort to dismantle the terrorist network following a recent attack in Pahalgam.

The houses that were taken down are located in Bandipora, Pulwama, and Shopian districts. One of the demolished houses belonged to Adnan Shafi, a terrorist who joined last year, in Wandina, Shopian. Another house, belonging to Amir Nazir in Pulwama, was also demolished. In Bandipora, the home of Jameel Ahmad Shergojri, a member of the group Lashkar-e-Toiba, was destroyed. Shergojri has been involved in terrorist activities since 2016.

With these demolitions, the total number of houses belonging to terrorists and their supporters destroyed since the attack in Pahalgam has now reached nine.

This crackdown follows an attack on Tuesday near Pahalgam in a popular tourist area called Baisaran. During this attack, terrorists shot at holidaymakers, killing 26 people, mostly visitors from other states. This tragic event has increased tensions between India and Pakistan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that those responsible would be tracked down wherever they are.
