The spokesperson for India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Randhir Jaiswal, said on Friday that the UK needs to take serious action regarding the security breach during External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar’s visit to London. Jaiswal’s comments came after the UK Foreign Office released a statement about the incident.

India has expressed serious worries to the UK about the security disruption caused by some extremists in the UK during Jaishankar’s visit. “We have clearly told UK authorities that we are very concerned about what happened,” Jaiswal said at a press conference.

He also pointed out that this issue is bigger than just the one incident. It shows a larger problem and how certain groups are allowed to act without facing consequences. Their actions can make it difficult for India to carry out its diplomatic work in the UK. Jaiswal noted that while they appreciate the UK’s statement about the incident, the true measure of its seriousness will be the actions they take against those responsible for this and similar events.
