Actor Akshay Kumar is enjoying the good reviews he got for his last two movies, Kesari Chapter 2 and Sky Force. Even though these films didn’t make a lot of money, people liked them and praised Akshay’s performance. After Kesari Chapter 2 came out, he talked about what he thinks of audience feedback, both the good and the bad.
In a recent talk on Zee Music India’s YouTube channel, Akshay said, “The audience is the boss because they pay for everything. When they cheer for me, it motivates me. When they criticize, I learn from it. I always want to improve my work. I pay attention to real feedback, whether it’s about the scripts I pick or the roles I choose. People often tell me to ‘try something different,’ so I do my best to choose unique movies. Criticism can hurt, but if it’s honest, it helps me get better.”
Akshay also shared thoughts on his worries for the future. He said, “Apart from falling from a helicopter, my biggest fear is waking up one day and seeing no messages. That would make me feel like my time is over, and I’m not needed anymore. This is why I don’t want to stop working. Life is short, and I want to make the most of it. I will only rest when I’m no longer in this world.”
Kesari Chapter 2, Akshay’s new movie, tells the story of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. It also stars R. Madhavan and Ananya Panday. The film has received positive reviews and has made ₹75 crore worldwide so far.
