David Beckham recently talked about his wife Victoria’s new Netflix documentary at MIP London. He was joined by Bela Bajaria, Netflix’s chief content officer, and they shared some exciting details about the show. David, who is 49, said he was the only one who could convince Victoria to do a documentary.
He mentioned that the documentary will show a different side of the former Spice Girls star, calling her “one of the hardest working women I know.” David explained that the series will reveal how much effort Victoria puts into her business, family, and life overall. He said there are many surprising elements in the documentary, including how she juggles everything.
David admitted that it wasn’t easy to get Victoria to agree to the documentary. He shared that it took some time to convince her but that it turned out to be really special. He joked, “I think I’m the only one who could convince her and I did, eventually.”
He also discussed Victoria’s fashion brand, saying that some people might think it was easy for her to start, but in reality, she has worked hard to build it over many years. David believes the docuseries will showcase all the effort she has put into her fashion empire. He described Victoria as having a witty personality and ended with a light joke about how she’s funny, but “not as funny as me.”
