India and China are working hard to fix their relationship, and it’s becoming very important for the world. Chinese Ambassador Xu Feihong spoke about this on Tuesday, sharing that recent talks between the two countries have helped them understand each other better, especially about their shared border.

Last year, both nations agreed to stop fighting along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh, creating a better environment for friendship. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi had an important meeting on December 18, while Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri later visited China to talk with Sun Weidong.

Xu emphasized the talks reached many agreements on how to move forward and work together. He mentioned that improving India-China relations is very important for both countries and the rest of the world. The ambassador encouraged both sides to respect each other’s interests and see each other’s growth as a chance for better teamwork.

As India and China celebrate 75 years of being friends, they are also working on continuing peace in their border areas. Last year, they finished a process to pull back troops from places where they had been facing off. After this, Prime Minister Modi met with Chinese President Xi Jinping to revive various ways of talking with each other.

In conclusion, India believes that its friendship with China can only improve if there is harmony along their shared borders.
