Popular plus-size influencer and musician Dajua Blanding, also known as Dank Demoss, recently shared a video of herself getting into an SUV. This comes after a cab driver refused to give her a ride because he said she was too big to fit in his car. Dank Demoss is taking legal action against the ride-hailing app Lyft because of this incident.
The rapper recorded her encounter with the driver, and her video quickly went viral online. Many people had strong opinions about it. To strengthen her case, she shared another video showing herself comfortably getting into a smaller car. In the first video, the driver said, “I’m sorry. I got no space at all, my car is small.” But Demoss confidently reassured him that she could fit.
In the latest video, she was seen walking to a car dealership in Michigan and jumping into a smaller car, even driving it to show she had no problem fitting in. She plans to use this video as evidence in her legal fight against Lyft.
Lyft has stated that the driver’s behavior was “unacceptable,” and they are looking into the situation. After the video went viral, some people supported the driver, saying that Dank Demoss unfairly got him fired.
