The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is winning the counting of votes for the Delhi Assembly elections. Early reports show that BJP has already won more than 36 seats out of the total 70, meaning they are likely to win again. With BJP close to winning, people are curious about who will be the next chief minister of Delhi.

Virendra Sachdeva, the head of BJP in Delhi, said he is confident about the party’s success. He believes that the results match their hopes and credited their hard work for the win. He mentioned that BJP focused on important issues for Delhi while Arvind Kejriwal of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) tried to distract the voters.

BJP is leading in 46 seats, while AAP has 24, and the Congress party is ahead in just 1 seat. As BJP gets ready to form the government again, several names are being discussed for the next chief minister.

Key Candidates for Chief Minister:

1. Parvesh Verma: He is running against Arvind Kejriwal in New Delhi. His win could make him a strong candidate for chief minister.

2. Ramesh Bidhuri: A former MP running against AAP’s Atishi Singh. He is influential in the BJP and could play a big role if he wins.

3. Bansuri Swaraj: She is the daughter of the late Sushma Swaraj and is a first-time MP. Her position puts her in the running for chief minister.

4. Smriti Irani: Even though she faced a loss in the recent Lok Sabha elections, she is still considered a candidate for the role.

5. Dushyant Gautam: He is an important BJP leader running in Karol Bagh. With his experience and his influence in the Dalit community, he is also a strong contender.

After 27 years, the BJP looks set to take charge in Delhi again, and many are waiting to see who will be chosen as the new chief minister.
