41 Countries Can Enter the U.S. Visa-Free: Find Out How

Good news! If you live in one of 41 countries, you can now visit the United States for up to 90 days without needing a visa. This is possible thanks to a program called the Visa Waiver Program (VWP). Some of the countries included are:

                                                                                    – United Kingdom
– Australia
– Germany
– France
– Japan
– Italy
– Spain
– Taiwan and many more!

This means you can travel for fun or business without the hassle of paperwork. But before you go, make sure you get something called an Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA). This is an online approval you need to fly to the U.S. from VWP countries.

If you still want a visa in your passport, you can apply for a visitor visa (B-1 or B-2).

                                                                        Special Rules to Remember

There are some important rules under the VWP. If you have visited any of these countries since March 1, 2011, you will need a visa:

                                                                                   – North Korea
– Iran
– Iraq
– Libya
– Somalia
– Sudan
– Syria
– Yemen

Also, if you’ve been to Cuba since January 12, 2021, you need a visa.

To travel to the U.S. without a visa, be sure to meet all the VWP requirements.

                                                                          Getting Your ESTA

ESTA is a simple online system by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to check if you’re allowed to go to the U.S. Make sure you have your ESTA approval before you board your plane!
