Pete Davidson recently shared his feelings about removing his tattoos on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The 31-year-old comedian has over 200 tattoos and said the process has been “horrible.” He decided to remove them after getting sober. So far, he has spent around $200,000 on tattoo removal.

During his chat, Pete explained that taking off a tattoo hurts more than getting one. He said, “It’s horrible” and described how it involves burning off skin. This process takes a long time — about six to eight weeks to heal between sessions, and he has to repeat it around 12 times.

Pete, who is promoting his new movie Dog Man, showed his arm on Today, saying, “It’s pretty gone.” He talked about how he looked in the mirror after becoming sober and thought, “Who’s that?” He realized he wanted to change his appearance.

A source revealed that Pete simply woke up one day wanting to remove his tattoos. They also mentioned that he has been sober since September and has gained 20 pounds. Things are going great for him, and he’s getting good reviews for his movie!
