Nazara Technologies is making headlines because its subsidiary, NODWIN Gaming, has just bought a company called Starladder for $5.5 million (that’s about ₹46.75 crores). This acquisition will help NODWIN improve its ability to host exciting esports events worldwide.
Starladder is well-known for managing big esports competitions and owns popular gaming brands like the Star Series. After this deal, Starladder will fully belong to NODWIN and will be run from Singapore. The founder of Starladder, Roman Romanstov, will join NODWIN and keep overseeing the Starladder operations.
This purchase means NODWIN will be able to create better and more exciting experiences for gamers and fans. Akshat Rathee, Co-Founder of NODWIN Gaming, expressed his excitement about working with Roman, calling him a pioneer in esports event organization. NODWIN wants to take its gaming events to a whole new level with this partnership.
On a side note, shares of Nazara Technologies went down 1% to ₹942.70 on Thursday.
