Poonam Pandey recently visited the Maha Kumbh Mela, where millions of people come to bathe in the holy Ganga River. This event is very important for many devotees, as it allows them to participate in the Shahi Snan, a special cleansing ritual.

In her pictures, Poonam wore a black shirt with designs of Mahakal, which is a form of Lord Shiva, and slogans like “Jai Mahakal” and the “Om” symbol. After a refreshing dip in the river, she performed Suryanamaskar, a series of yoga poses to greet the sun.

She shared photos of other devotees putting haldi (turmeric) and sandalwood paste on their foreheads, which is a traditional way to ask for blessings. Poonam captured the large crowd by the Ganga, showing how special the Shahi Snan is for those involved. It was a moment filled with energy and spirituality.

Besides the bathing ritual, Poonam enjoyed boat rides, fed birds, and watched beautiful evening aartis (prayer ceremonies) by the river. She even danced with other devotees to celebrate the festival.

However, the event was also marked by sadness. A stampede happened in the crowd, causing injuries and claiming lives. Poonam expressed her sorrow and prayed for those who lost their lives, wishing they find peace. In her post, she shared her feelings about the experience, saying, “Maha Kumbh… witnessing life where a 70-year-old walks barefoot for hours, where faith knows no limits. Feeling deeply for those who lost their lives, hoping they find peace. The devotion here has left me speechless
